Sized as advertised. After wearing for a month a screw fell out and the Velcro lost some of its grip. Probably will replace with a different brand.

I bought this because it seemed to be a good design. I have tried the standard boot design which is way too bulky and hard. I have tried the smaller ones with the bendable strip on top and those can be hard to get adjusted. This looked well made.Boy was I wrong! The rigid plastic on the side digs into the ankle and side of the foot like an angry alligator - I even tried adding foam padding to no avail. Then I tried cutting away part of the plastic (front support) and it was better but still very bad.I now goes to the landfill.

My orthopedic doctor suggested these night splints for a couple different issues i was having. The basis for which were calves that were too tight. I have tried lesser priced night splints (those that have a solid front, but are not adjustable) and saw no relief. But with these, I found relief in the first night, and after a couple weeks, seemed totally cured of my issues. The key is that this splint is adjustable, as to the angle it keeps your foot at. And even though it looks cumbersome, I found it no problem at all to sleep in.

Definitely helps my Plantar plus it is not bulky and I can sleep with it on. Pricey, but I recommend it.

THIS IS TOTALLY A CHEAP BOOT FOR THE PRICE AND IT IS NOT RETURNABLE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!

It's like wearing a big boot into bed. I couldn't even make it thru the whole night.
