good product for on the go notes!
perfect on the go screen protector for when you want to use the apple pencil to write notes, and easily removable when you want to use the iPad with your hands, its made of good quality and can tell it would last, its not sticky as it attaches with the magnets on the top and bottom of the screen, overall good value for money and functions well with just a snap on.

Useful screen cover
I’ve been using the ESR magnetic paper-like screen protector for a little while and it’s been a really solid addition to my iPad. Writing and drawing feel smoother and more controlled, and the surface has a nice texture that makes it easier to focus for longer periods. It attaches easily and stays in place well. The reduced glare is also helpful, especially when as I work near a window. The only thing to be aware of is that it shows a lot of dust if the screen isn’t completely clean before applying it, so it’s important to take your time during setup. Other than that, it does exactly what I hoped it would.

Best of both worlds
As someone who only used my Apple Pencil from time to time I didn’t want a ‘permanent’ paper like screen protector added as I primarily use it for viewing content and didn’t want anything to spoil the gorgeous contrast of the OLED screen. This magnetic screen protector is perfect. It fit as on via magnets and is easily removable and can be stored in the little wallet that comes with it. I was initially worried that the screen protector wouldn’t sit flat to the screen and there would be a gap (like on old style touch screens) but this fits absolutely flush. This can be put on top of an existing glass screen protector - with both on the iPad still fits inside the Smart Folio but note that if you’ve got the Magic Keyboard it becomes slightly too thick for that case to close flush. The paperlike feel of this is lovely and makes pencil use much more pleasant. Time will tell how this holds up to repeated on/off/storage but it feels of decent rigidity. If you’ve think you might need a paperlike screen some of the time but not as a constant feature then this comes recommended.

Great idea and quality.
Great quality as you'd expect from ESR. Also great quality thoughtful packaging. I’ve not actually used the film properly yet, as in taking the magnetic strip protectors off, as I would need to clean my screen, but I have just placed it on top and it’s secure. It comes with two magnetic strips that secure the film in place onto your iPad glass. It’s a much better feel when writing. And it’s more smooth as in writing on paper. Writing directly on the screen my letters are less neat as the pen slides easily. I’m hoping to use it to practice my calligraphy on and just practice writing in general, instead of looking for scraps of paper. It’s seems like a waste of money but it really isn’t if you use the pen a lot. Unless you do a lot of writing we tend to rely on typing up notes on our phones and you get out of the practice of writing. Having the apple pen allows you to keep using your skill. The screen protector really does make a difference. I read that it also protects the nib compared to writing in the ipad screen. The packaging is what I would expect from ESR. it arrives in a beautiful folder. Then inside it’s placed in a strong plastic wallet so you can bin the cardboard one if you wish. Then inside the wallet it’s in a very soft plastic bag. I suppose to maybe stop it getting scratched whilst sliding it into the wallet if you have any bits on it. Very well thought of. I wish my last two purchases from them had this amount of packaging. The regular glass protector would have been so much easier if it had been presented like this.

Works a treat
Great for an easier paper-like feel when needing to write it draw - easy to remove and put back as needed.

Rubbish Magnet
The magnet on this is terrible. When new it stuck okay on my iPad mainly because it’s slightly sticky. After a while and it had been removed and replaced a couple of time it now hardly sticks and just falls off if not held carefully.TBH the paper effect is good but I’ll look elsewhere next time as it just doesn’t stick.

Hard to stick on properly and texture is too rough compared to the paperlike brand
I bought one of these to replace my actual paperlike screen protector since i wanted the papery feel for drawing but also with the ability to take it off and use the device for videos and games without the grainy paper texture on my fingers. unfortunately the texture of this screen protector is much more rough and grainy compared to my paperlike one and the magnets can be very overly agressive and can make it hard to stick cleanly or neatly onto the screen. ive come to just prefer using my ipad without any screen protector all

Works with a couple of small negatives
Works as described, better to write on with the pencil vs the bare screen easy to fit, remove and refit without worrying about bubbles. Added bonus the cut out for the cameras is only on one side so can be used as a camera cover if you are concerned about privacy.Slight negatives, dulls the screen a little and adds a slight haze (hard to describe), I also find it a little more difficult to swipe up from the bottom of the screen with it in place. All that said it’s still on my iPad and being used daily.
