Note on the fit. These gloves are made to be worn tight! If you want a VERY tight fit order your measured size. For a more comfortable fit order one size larger. Compare these gloves with the competition, the SG20P and the D20P gloves by other manufacturers, and you'll immediately see and feel the better fit, the softer, thinner, more tactile leather, as well as the exceptional value you are getting with Pratt and Hart's version of this thin unlined Police Search Duty Gloves. Constructed from selected very thin hides for highest dexterity while searching, shooting or driving. The short wrist length elasticized cuff provides a very snug fit and a crisp appearance that will not interfere with your jacket or shirt cuff. SIZING HINT: For BEST FIT: Use our own size chart (last picture variation) for how to size these gloves. Remember they run tight!

DON'T BUY, FAKE PRODUCT
gloves are oversized, made of cheap feeling material, and the tips of the fingers are weirdly padded to have an odd squared off tip- the tag is in chinese and called "touchglove", so i'm assuming i was shipped something cheaper and flimsier than what was advertised. still decently constructed gloves, just not at all what was expected. disappointed, but these are still okay.EDIT: FALSE ADVERTISING.these are absolutely not the Pratt & Hart gloves, found an online review for the gloves I was supposed to be sent and these are cheap Chinese knockoffs that are made of inferior material. Don't buy these!!

They look and feel nice but are hard to get on!
What I like and why: These gloves look great and feel rather fine! I like how tight they are. They give me a really bada** kind of feel when I wear them with black clothing especially. What I dislike and why: However, getting them on is TOUGH. I’m said to have somewhat skinny fingers (I’m also short so my hands are also small but proportionate) and these gloves are still somewhat of a pain to get on so far. Maybe I just need to break them in some more, or I should’ve gotten a Small instead of Extra Small but if you have meatier hands, maybe size up one than your normal size or buy your size and see if you can get the gloves on at all to begin with because the wrist area isn’t really stretchy at all. Getting one on isn’t so bad, but getting the other on with one glove already on makes it tough. My only real gripe is just putting them on but other than that, these seem to be great gloves.TL;DR, They look and feel as expected but for reasons due to the size I chose, or the wrist area not being stretchy enough, they’re a struggle to put on your hands.Sidenote: I didn’t have the same issue as the other guy who also bought an XS saying the thumb is a little long. The gloves fit just perfectly (or maybe tighter than they should be) for me and I wouldn’t say I have a long/large thumb.

Very thin and incredibly smooth, soft gloves. Tight fitting.
These gloves feel great. For a man, I have small hands. I'm a short dude, so yes my hands are proportionate. They are VERY thin. Thinnest gloves I've ever owned (in this style). They fit me like a second skin. Nice and TIGHT just how I like my gloves to fit. My right hand is slightly tighter (Don't ask why, you know why), and was a bit of trouble to get on. I at one point heard a little rip, since then it's gone on a little smoother, but I don't see any visible tears. Will update if anything happens, as I just got these today.Thumbs are always trouble for me, because most companies think all men have elongated neanderthal thumbs.I do not, and I have to say I was incredibly pleased at this fit.

Heed the warning for running small and order the next size up...(or two)
Beware these do run small. To be safe, I ordered an extra size up but should have gone 2 sizes up. These are XXL glove and these BARELY fit my hands. They are very snug once on...but appear to be OK once in place. The leather (or pleather what ever it is) is very thin....so I was extra careful putting them on. NOT for cold weather....Time will tell how they hold up. The fingers seem good...only index finger is tiny bit long on the glove. If it becomes a bother...I can turn inside out and stitch it down a bit for better fit. Honestly though they are so snug...once you fit your fingers all the way in...they seem to stay put.Hope they last!

Exactaly what I was looking for.
I just received these and tried them on. I'm very happy with them so far. I read the small card that came with them about about the Pratt & Hart Company and there tradition to quality and reputation for superior craftsmanship and really wanted to believe that until I read the tag in the glove that says "Made In China".Even so, there exactly what I wanted and the craftsmanship seems to be there. I like a nice tight, thin, sheepskin, glove and this fits me perfectly in the size "Medium" I normally were in this style. I can manipulate small tools ( Flashlight and clip knife ) and my touch screen phone with them on, or flip through my wallet and pocket change with ease.My first impression is that I made the right purchase at the right price. Only time will tell.I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 on first impressions because of the "Made in China" tag in them.I will update if I find a problem later.

Great gloves, but run small.
Bought one pair for me, and my other guys at the security firm loved them so much that they paid me to buy three more pairs for them. Very solid fit. Sizing is small, grab one size larger. I wear XL and so do the other guys, so I've bought four pairs of XXL. All pairs fit great, came on time or early, and had no defects or bad packaging.A little tight at first, but the leather forms to your hands after a few wears. As with unlined leather, there will be black left on your hands for the first few wears. This is excess polish, it's not going to stain your hands. If too bothersome, turn gloves inside out, wash is cool water, air dry. These gloves fit tight, are durable, I can use my phone and equipment with them on, no problems yet. Worth it.

but I use them on a regular basis and like them a lot
I am a police officer and use these gloves for pat downs. They are thin and the material is soft and durable. These gloves are are not adequate for protection from needles/cutting utensils, but I use them on a regular basis and like them a lot. These gloves run small, so get a size larger. I typically wear a large and bought XL. They fit snug and took a while to break in. I usually put them on ahead of time and take them off after a call. They are a bit difficult to put on and take off if your hands are sweaty/wet.Not a cold weather glove. Good for driving and pat downs. Low level hand protection.
