Loved it - another one of the grat book on Ghosts in London
May be not the best one of the books I read on the subject, but ticked all the boxes for me - get a pen ready, and mark the buildings on the map of London - you will want to go and check them out!

Rather Diappointing!
A lot of "historical" information which is ok as I am a history nut - but not as many "ghostly happenings" as I would like. Quite a lot of detail regarding the sites but not much "ghostly details". When I read a book about ghosts and ghostly happenings I do not expect to read three pages of descriptive information and then one or two brief references to ghostly activities.A bit of a disappointment, but historically of interest.

Really good information
I bought this book previous to our trip to England. I have a 14 year old girl and a 10 year old boy. It was fun to read the stories at the various sites because everything has a "secret" in such an old city and that is part of the thrill of going to London. The kids found fascinating the stories the book has, so much that they didn't care about going shopping, and only wanted to hear new stories every time. The nice thing is that we didn't have to read the complete book before the trip, I just glanced it. Once in London, we found the chapter at each marker and read about it on the spot.
