Xiaomi14 Ultra – Smartphone 16+512 GB - Black (UK Version and 2 Year Warranty)

One of the best camera phone I have ever used. It has replaced my compact travel camera with micro 4/3 sensor. The combination of AI and 1 inch type main sensor can produce results which can really surprise you.

When was released waiting Globam version. Ordered. I'm happy. Best phone ever had. Camera amazing.

Laggy - Its not as smooth running as the phone I am replacing - It's quite heavy too- Nice lenses but not enough gain to carry around.

The only good thing about this Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone is its a more manageable size than the Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra I had been using for the last few months. But I was expecting a spectacular camera, given the Leica technology. Not so. It has less wide angle or zoom and there's no apparrent difference in picture quality at all. Then, despite spending time trying to customise the settings and apps, on each occasion it has proven inferior to the Samsung. The overall build quality seems cheap and plasticky compared to the Samsung. Whilst there is thankfully no pointless pen which never got used, (but resulted in the Samsung being irritatingly that bit too wide), that doesn't make up for the other inadequacies. Overall it's the operating system that finally lets it down (just won't do the things you expect it should), plus the fact that it feels like a cheap no-name device you might impulse-buy at a petrol station then regret later and chuck in a drawer, never to be used again. It arrived with me at lunchtime today. By lunchtime tomorrow it will have been packed up ready for sending back and a refund. Very disappointing.
