I was recommended the nail file from another mum and wish I had bought it sooner. I don’t cut my babies nails anymore - no more fear of cutting too far, tugging at wriggly hands and feeling frustrated every week! I just have a quick weekly file of her nails whilst she sits back and smiles at me contently.The file is completely pain free, very simple to use and works effectively. A must have for a new parent!

The short bit - Easy to use, would recommend.The long bit - Having used baby nail files for the last 14 weeks, I was finding the process very time consuming. This lead to me using nail clippers, thinking I’d be done in no time. Started on the thumb... Blood everywhere!! Yikes, might be quicker but I’m sure the baby will appreciate having her fingers intact when she grows up!With her future in mind, I began to research new products. I came across this and thought I’d give it a go!I tried it on myself first... Didn’t want to take the other thumb off!! It was really gentle! It’s not as quiet as it states, but still worth it (although I’m sure the neighbours think it’s quieter than the screams we had with the nail clippers!)I’ve been using it for a week now and the baby loves it. There’s a little light on it so you could probably use it in the night while the babies asleep. I wouldn’t dare in the night incase it woke her (I think a bomb disposal team would even wake this one!) The light does give an added distraction in the day though.Different speeds and different files so should suit most babies.I would definitely recommend this product.

My newborn kept scratching her face and is a light sleeper so would wake when I try to cut her nails.This manicure set is amazing. It’s so quiet, and quickly trims the nail down without her feeling a thing. There is even a little light to see in the dark. There’s no fear of accidentally hurting her or cutting her.

Does the job but is poorly made, product does not work if the battery cover is on need to take is off so the batteries stay in place.

This product is a total joke. Does not work and even to get it to switch on, you have to leave battery compartment off. Please AVOID.

This is amazing. So easy to use and does not wake up the baby. Have to use it frequently though as it works best on small nails. If you wait for them to grow a bit it takes a while. Best to use when they are asleep

The product works good enough for the price. Quality is not the best but it somehow works. It could be better I believe. I've used it a few times and I'm not fully convinced yet. Shipping was very fast.

This is really quiet and easy to use, my newborn doesn't flinch having her nails done and it works really effectively without and discomfort. The only slight flaw is that it does feel cheaply made and sometimes doesn't stay on unless holding unit together tightly. None the less I'm glad I brought it and would buy it again regardless given the price
