These clips are pretty and if you can get them in your hair, they hold well. My only issue is that they don't have a grip on the squeeze tab (no texture, just smooth plastic) and when my hands are wet and coated with product (leave in conditioner, gel, etc.) these clips fly right out of my hands as I'm trying to open them. Other brands have more grip on the tab. If you are using these on wet hair and using a lot of product, make another choice.

Update: All but 2 cracked with no harsh use after a few months. The plastic doesn't hold up so if you're going to get these, beware.I was a bit skeptical that these would be easy to handle (with dry or wet hands) when I first took them out of the package because they're smooth plastic with seemingly no way to get a good grip grip. Boy was I surprised! I took one out and slipped one in my dry, very curly/coarse hair and it stayed put. Later in the evening, I decided to put my natural hair in two-strand twists that required water and slippery styling products. I used about 4 or 5 of the clips, taking them out and putting them back for each section. With wet hands full of product, I had zero issues rearranging the clips! They stayed put and cooperated throughout the entire process. I even gave them a good rinse afterwards and they came clean instantly, then dried off just as quickly. I have 2 other kinds of clips that drove me nuts as they slipped all over the place and extended the time it took to style my hair just chasing them down. Not these! They cut styling time in half! I highly recommend them!

When i saw these clips online, i loved the colors but worried that they would be cheap. The reviews were great as was the price, so I bought them anyway. I'm so glad that I did! I've been using these for a few weeks now and absolutely love them. They hold your hair right where you clip it...no sliding down your head, and the hair dies not slide out?I use these to clip my bangs up while I wash my face and they don't slide out...not even a few strays. Also use to clip up as I am blow drying or flat ironing my hair. No problems or complaints and I really love the colors of the clips. I have problems with my hands and these are easy to grip and easy to open close. They don't hurt my hands. Love em!

Wow. These clips are tough! I was expecting flimsy and cheap because of the bargain price. I was prepare for 6 clips that may break very quickly. Boy, was I wrong. These are much heavier duty than anticipated. They are thick and sturdy and they hold TIGHT! I'd originally gotten them to hold my hair up while I'm coloring it, since metal clips react badly with chemical dyes. These hold so well I can honestly say I'll be using them to hold my hair up when I go out. The colors are beautiful too! The pics just don't do them justice. Oh, 5 stars to the seller too. These came FAST! Much, much much faster than promised. Like two weeks faster. If I recall correctly they shipped from Hong King and arrived after only a week and a half, instead of the 4 - 6 weeks predicted with the shipping info. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! I'm going to order a second set for my daughter!

While the advertisement claims these are good for all types of hair, I didn't find that to be true. Despite that my hair grows somewhat thickly, the hairs themselves are fine and soft. I've been using butterfly clips to hold my hair aside while blow drying and styling, but that required twisting chunks of hair so the clips would hold them. I wanted an easier method and that was why I bought these clamps. My hairdresser uses clamps while styling my hair and they work just fine. These clamps did not. They slid around and made styling difficult. In the end, I had to twist my hair to get them to stay still, just like with the butterfly clips. They probably work fine for really thick or course hair, or for hair that is not sleek and slippery. My only gripe really is that I feel the advertising is falsely stated.

These clips are GREAT! I use one to move back all one side of hair so I can put treatment cream on throat and neck. It easily keeps all hair back until dry with no problem. I also use one after I wash my hair, dry to almost dry, then put up in a high ponytail and wrap the tail part in a large curler. I clip the curler with one of these... and NO PULLING OF HAIR like all the other clips I've tried. After a couple of hours in ponytail, when I remove roller and clip, my hair forms a really nice pageboy... just enough curl under to be complimentary.

I love these clips. They are tight, but not too much, and perfect for sectioning hair, even my fine straight hair. The design is so different from the usual clips. I think it's way better: holds hair but does not harm it.

I have very thick, curly hair, and I love these clips. I After I wash my hair, I swirl my hair around my finger and clip my hair back, to let it air dry into nice ringlets. These things can hold a LOT of hair.
