There were two mods which I made, using my original bolts which are thicker and being plastic rustproof. Also the rectangular washers then needed the holes filing out slightly to accept the old bolts. I also covered the mating faces of the hinge bases with double sided sticky pads (cut to fit) to firmly anchor the seat. Nothing more annoying than a seat which moves about.
