Masterclip Labradoodle Professional Dog Clippers Set Pet Grooming Clipper Trimmer Supplies

I've ended up going down the DIY route when it comes to grooming our Labradoodle, because of difficulties arranging appointments with the professionals. Turns out dog groomers definitely earn their money!That said, these clippers definitely make the job so much easier. They may be reasonably expensive but they're well worth the money. I was previously using some cheap clippers from a well-known manufacturer beginning with W, and they constantly tangled and stalled with the thick hair - any mats took ages to sort out and it was really slow going. These are worlds apart - gliding through the hair and cutting with no pulling. They made the job so much quicker and less stressful for me and the dog!The labradoodle version comes with 3 separate blades. A regular finishing cut blade and two 'skip tooth' blades. The skip tooth blades are designed for cutting through thick or tangled coats and have a built-in comb (3mm or 6mm). I've seen warnings against using skip tooth blades if you're not a professional, but going carefully and keeping the skin taut I didn't have any problems. The blades are really easy to change and the mechanism feels like it will last.The only downsides I can see to this set are that there are no separate combs for different lengths with the finishing cut blade, (I think that these can be purchased separately) and both the skip-cut blades are pretty short. The longest one (6mm) is about the shortest I would want to go, so not sure I'll ever use the other one.The cable is long enough to get around the dog well, and comes with a decent plastic storage case to keep everything togethr Availability of replacement blades and a 2-year guarantee should mean that these will last a while. Overall, a good set and all for the price of about 2 trips to the groomer!

Unfortunately the clippers couldn’t cut through our labradoodles fleece.Don’t get me wrong the clippers are very well made and would probably do the job on most dogs but ours was just to much of a challenge.I think the snagging issues we found could be solved if the kit came with them plastic guides you get with most clippers. The bare metal of this set just wouldn’t run through the coat.

It was a good product and did a good job. However, I did not have anything to compare it with as this was the first time I had attempted to groom my dog at home so I cannot compare it with less expensive clippers. I took the comments from previous purchases of Amazon customers. A grooming table is a must. I do not think I could have groomed my Labradoodle without one.

A little disappointed at the level of noise, neither of my boys liked them near their ears.I also feel that it gets too hot, too quickly, however, they do also go through the coat easily

They work really well on my sproodles. Much quieter than the previous Masterclip clippers I had. Well worth the money. With my two sproodles they’ve already paid for themselves with what I’ve saved at the groomers. Get through their dense, curly coats easily

Absolutely fantastic clippers for my cockapoos. The very best clippers I have ever bought. Makes grooming so much easier they are very good and you can tell they are professional grade. Highly reccomend these clippers.
