I have a Dell Inspiron 5000 series that's a few years old and upgraded my external monitor to a 3440x1440 34" widescreen, but it couldn't recognize it properly and did not display the full width using the HDMI cable. Previously had a typical 21" monitor using the same setup and it played 1080p, Then I added a USB-C to HDMI adapter I had laying around, which allowed the full usage of the monitor width, but any video full screen over 360p would be very choppy. This cable fixed the issues and now the external works at 1440p FULL SCREEN!!!

Quality choice, to make the connection b/t my laptop and monitor a smooth and hand-down thing!

I used this cable for about one month before it started flickering my display. My monitor would lose signal for a few seconds constantly for about a week before the cable stopped working. I had it for maybe one month before it gave up. I would not recommend.

Title says it all. Needed an Amazon Basics usb-c to display port adapter to work on a usb 4 port.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Feels high quality and transmits the video well. I especially like that the plug portion is long enough to fit all the way into the gpu plug even though my PC case gets in the way a bit. I also like that I don’t have to try an mash some lock release button to unplug it while simultaneously trying not to break off the display port plug.

I use this to plug my Microsoft laptop into a larger monitor and it works great. There's no set up, just plug it in. I've been using it for about 7 months so far and haven't had any issues.
