Absolutely perfect cup of tea!
Strong flavor, with a delicious smell and taste! I drink my tea black with honey and after trying the second cup, I can say I am a fan! Although I do not use milk in my tea, I think this tea would be strong enough to add milk to without sacrificing the tea flavor. I read a lot of the reviews (I am a tea snob-meaning, I like strong black tea with a clear taste), and I am glad I gave this one a try. It is in a pellet form, which I actually preferred to the loose cut leaf tea.One particular review I read mentioned particles, or floaties, in the cup (even with the finest mesh strainer), which was off putting to them and interfered with their enjoyment of the tea. I did not notice any floaties in either cup that I had, and the particles in the bottom of my cup were minimal. Neither was enough to deter me from loving this tea. I am not sure what strainer they used, but the strainer I used is a heart shaped tea ball and it did as well with the CTC as it does with cut leaf.Overall, the smell, flavor, and taste were wonderful and very appealing to me. I did take another reviewers advice and cut the amount per cup down on the first cup I tried just to make sure it wouldn't be too strong, or bitter. The second cup, I filled my tea ball halfway (a bit more than what would be in a bagged tea), and it was perfect! Strong, smooth and has a fabulous flavor. I do tend to steep my tea for longer periods than recommended on the package because some teas just aren't strong enough for my taste, but I don't think that will be an issue with this tea.Granted, not everyone likes their tea the way I do, but regardless, if you like a strong black tea, then you should give this one a try. I don't think you will be disappointed!

An excellent, unique, reasonably priced loose leaf black tea.
I was looking for a good basic and pure loose leaf black tea. I had been using a different high-end brand of loose leaf Assam tea but that line of tea had run out so I hunted Amazon for a replacement brand. I found that the Ghograjan Assam Breakfast was reviewed well and much more reasonably priced than my previous tea so decided to give it a go. It arrived promptly in a nice sealable bag. I was surprised when I opened it that the round "pellets" were very fine and not large. The smell was subtle but very pleasant. I like to brew my black teas in boiling water which I did in this case (using a borosilicate glass pot with a strainer over the stovetop). I used two teaspoons and once the water was boiled left it boiling for 3 minutes. The tea came out very dark and strong. It had a pleasant thick flavor (I like to add splenda and milk to my tea) but was a bit too strong. For subsequent servings I used a smaller tea leaf to water ratio and the tea has come out very flavorful, moderately strong, and pleasant. It is really a great replacement for coffee. It has a very unique flavor unlike other typical English Breakfast teas. Sometimes I mix it with a bit of English Breakfast or Earl Grey from another brand just to give it a bit more zing but it is great on its own. I do recommend adding milk as recommended on the label. All in all, an excellent, unique, very reasonably priced tea that you will enjoy. Don't hesitate to give it a try.

Delicious and my new favorite
This tea has such a wonderfully rich flavor and holds up well with milk. I make boba at home a lot and I have been trying various loose leaf black teas to find something more enjoyable then what I was using. I use evaporated milk (it's what my favorite boba place used) to add the creamy flavor and this tea is able to shine through it. This tea is rolled into tiny balls and makes it so much easier to add to my tea maker basket.

Not Bad, But Odd
I was online shopping for Assam and this stuff on Amazon popped up. The description sounded OK, so I gave it a try. Upon arrival it looked so strange I was instantly disappointed. Not a leaf in sight, just little tiny dots, or specks rolling around. I used appropriately foul language, but am such tightwad I dare not give it a try. Surprise! It's not bad! It's not great, but it's totally fine, and now I'm sorry I wasted my foul language supply. It's got a solid tea taste and there's a little bit of Assam in there somewhere. I may even order it again, because for what I got the price wasn't bad either.

Surprisingly Great!!!!!
Surprisingly Great!!!!! I was quite curious about this Tea, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I received this at a discount for an honest review so I was a little more easily convinced to try it.I doesn't look like Tea and it doesn't smell like Tea, in fact it kind of smells like the pelts you feed the farm animals at the petting zoo, LOL. I hope I'm not throwing you off ;) Another strange thing is the steep time. You only have to steep it for 60 seconds or 90 if you wish for a stronger cup.Now I'm still trying to train my self on understanding that you don't need a lot of loose tea to make a cup. I always want to put a ton because I figure, how can such a small amount make anything, right! Well this is no exception as it only needs a teaspoon per 6oz.My descriptive skills are quite lacking when it comes to taste, so it's hard for me to describe, but in time maybe I'll be able to do that for you. As far as the price, Totally Worth It! Of course we all have different taste, but if you can comment on this I wouldn't mind the discussion. If you found this helpful give me a vote, thanks.
