I was ecstatic when I saw this product. Baby always wants to steal the pouch out of my hands when I'm feeding him, which usually results in purée spilling out everywhere. This way he gets the independence of holding the pouch, while not squashing the pouch. He still managed to get quite a bit of food all over himself, but it worked better than EasyPouch (purchased at the same time here on Amazon). EasyPouch also eliminated the squish factor, but he was able to hold this product better.

My daughter was in Occupational Therapy for Feeding therapy and for months I struggled to get her to eat much. She wanted to be in control but a 6 month old with baby food and a spoon just means GIANT MESSES and very little food to be eaten. Her therapist said she didn't recommend food pouches because they don't require a child to develop orally, but these are great because she could be in control by holding the handles, and it still required her to suck . I would recommend this for ANY child because it reduces the messes of food pouches and lets stubborn little ones like mine be in control!Hope this review was helpful!

Had to search way back in my purchase history to find this. It was worth coming back to review! If you plan on feeding your infant/toddler anything from a pouch, this thing is for you! I didn't get a chance to use it until now (daughter is finally old enough to hold things and slurp out of them). I put this on the fruit and veggie pouches, applesauce, pudding, you name it and she loves holding the handles. Dishwasher safe, we put it on the top rack in her dishwasher crate that we used for bottle parts and pacifiers early on. So far it has fit every type of screw top we've used and we tried tons of brands.

Works great and did not have any compatibility issue yet and we do buy a variety of pouch brands! main flaw for me: hard to clean properly unless you wash it tight away after use so it does not have time to dry out. But definitely avoided many messes with my now 16 months old.

These are wonderful! I use them for long trips when I can't feed my son himself. I would but yogurt in there and he would eat it right up. They are easy to clean. I subtracted one star because when I was trying to take off the handle the top broke off. It could have been my fault but they could make that a little stronger.

I really wanted to love this pouch topper. My baby loves it and can hold onto his pouches easily, but this item does not work well with Squooshi reusable pouches. The pouches don't lock in place tightly so as soon as he picks up the handles, the pouch comes loose and falls off. Certain of the Squooshi animals work better than others. We still use the handles but have to supervise or purée goes everywhere as soon as he grabs it. Not a great match for Squooshi.

I bought these on a recommendation from a friend and it's been great. They've worked on all the pouches we've purchased and even the Infantino Squeeze pouches you fill yourself. They handle really stops my oldest from squeezing the pouch and making a mess. She also likes having the control of feeding herself. It might not work for everyone, but it's low price makes it worth a try. I've been recommending them to my friends. Some people even ask about them when we're out and I wouldn't hesitate to tell them to buy one.

The nozzle where the food comes out of is hard plastic so it doesn't create much of a suction - silicone would be better which is what I thought it was when ordering. The entire product is hard plastic. I like the idea of the handles and I think this MIGHT work better w/ an older toddler that can suck pretty hard b/c my baby couldn't do it. Not a total waste but not using it either right now - May try again in the future because I do like the handles.
