I'm using this for my pc setup, which is against a dark wall, with a dark nickel plug socket. A white plug and cable would've stuck out like a sore thumb. This works perfectly. I cable managed it and routed it up the desk leg, and secured it underneath the desk in a desk basket, it's basically invisible unless you're on your hands and knees looking for it. Just what I needed.
