I feel cheated, but in the best possible way....
Why I hate serials: I get the reason for them---you make a lot more dough breaking a story up into 15-20 page sections and selling them separately. But as a customer, it offends my sense of fairness when I have to spend possibly $30-$40 to read the whole story when a full length novel only costs $5 to $7. It's crass and exploitative, and I'm sure like nearly every other human being, I hate feeling taken advantage of. And then there's the waiting game---having to wait months between each installment. This series is at book 7 and not anywhere near the end. At this rate, it might be two years before we get to the conclusion. Who likes that kind of frustration while paying 10 times the cost? Not me. I resent it. (note: if you're going to go this greedy route, at least have the decency to publish the whole series at once, so readers don't lose interest or grow forgetful in the long wait). Why I love this series: it's hot, it's fun, it's gripping, and while there is the occasional typo, it's sharply written. Josh Hunter is that rarest of smut writers---a talented one who knows his way around not only the bedroom, but grammar and plot as well. Fair warning: if you start this series, you more than likely won't be able to stop. It's highly addictive reading! And apparently, it's going to be an expensive habit. (I'm in 7 books, or 210 pages at nearly $18 now, with no end in sight). Is it worth it? You be the judge. I simply couldn't stop reading. I'm a happy customer, but resentfully so. Now hurry up, Josh, and give us the next installment already!

It's much more complicated and well written than you'd expect!
I thought this was going to be a "dumb jock figures out he's gay" story, and a few pages later I'd be done with it. Well, it's not. This is a unique tale with lots plot twists. I enjoyed it so much that I just finished my second reading. The 2 main characters make up such an odd couple. The peripheral characters are great! The trials the two main characters have to suffer through in order to ultimately be together! The author fleshes several secondary characters that help make the whole thing work really well such as Wade's friends and teammates, his Dad, the coach, oh, the coach, Kevin's mom, his suddenly found new friend's (watch out for Katrina), though you come to see they will be together at the end, you have to question it almost to the to end. The evil, self-centered bastard coach is irresistible! He's such a dick! Poor Wade. And side interests like the English teacher and the second string quarterback. Great fun, hot sex, spying, stalking, fights, .... It's a well written fiction! The last chapter tying all the loose end together and the ending is so sweet that if it doesn't make you cry, you'll come away with a warm feeling like you just finished a great bowl of soup on a cold and windy day.You gotta wonder if some of this came from real life. Organized youth sports is a place where many young men have been hazed and sexually assaulted by their coaches and teammates. That's a bit hard to swallow, but as a work of complete fiction, it's okay to enjoy it. It's quite entertaining. It's well written, but whoever proofed it should not be paid! So many errors! OMG! It's distracting. I'd be happy to fix all the errors to make it more readable if the author would ok it, hint hint.

Great tale for the Adventurous reader
This is a very sexy tale of revenge, payback, blackmail, and extortion. A picked on shy intelligent guy gets talked into helping the local football superhero with a paper. But what will the jock have to "pay" for the services and as payback for all the bullying the football player and his buddies have perpetrated on the less athletic students? Things like name calling and "swirlies" in the boys room toilets. Then the coach catches the Quarterback in a compromising situation and begins to blackmail him by saying the QB has to do what the coach wants or he will tell the guy's father about what he knows. It gets sexier and kinkier from there. Good read. Can hardly wait for Part 10 to arrive to read. I'm hoping some of the characters get what they deserve in the end (no pun intended). A high recommendation for the adventurous. But not everyone's cup of tea.

Good start
Like where this is going, but wish the author put all the parts into one compilation. It would be easier to read that way.

Smexy
If you enjoy a jock being taken down some pegs by a "nerd," this is a book for you. Never underestimate a nerd and what he can do. Remember to keep ur word or what happens next is no one's fault but your own. 😈

Good but too expensive to continue
An enjoyable read. As a bullied nerd in high school I often had fantasies along similar lines. The writing is better than what you find in many erotic works but certainly not great literature.I'd really like to continue the series but I can't justify spending $20-$30 on a guilty pleasure. If all 10 segments were offered as a package at a reasonable price I'd be far more likely to buy. After all, there are too many similar stories available for free on the Internet.

Way, way too expensive for the series...
An interesting short story but it leaves you.. well.. frustrated. This is essentially the first chapter in a full length novel. While it is a good (but not great) first chapter, if you want to read the rest of the book you need to pony up 2-3 bucks for each of the next ten chapters. That brings the cost of the book to more than twenty-five dollars. At the same time you can get very, very good full length novels of the same genre for three or four bucks. Thanks but I'll pass. It wasn't engaging enough to make me follow along like that. If the full length book is ever released for a reasonable price, I'l think about it.

So HOT
So this was definitely HOT, very short but still VERY HOT. Here's the thing though, I want to read the rest of them very much but I'm not willing to pay $2 to $3 for each new part in the story. I mean come on there are like 9 or 10 more parts to the story and each one is only like 14 to 20 pages long. As much as I want to read them it is not worth the money. If it came in a box set maybe I'd buy it until then this 1st part of the story which was free was a nice teaser to what I'm sure would be a HOT read all the way through...

Wonderful Short Story
Oh, I totally loved this really short but oh so sweet tale of revenge as a homophonic bully gets his comeuppance. Kevin may be way smaller than high school footballer Wade, but he's tons smarter, plus he's just about had enough of Wade and his band of goons bullying.
