Useful attachment, but a little difficult to attach
This little softbox has generally been perfect for me.Before COVID I used to do a lot portrait photography, but since then and adapting to a work from home lifestyle, I don't get out nearly as much and have far less opportunity to do so. I've generally switched to taking photos of my collectibles.Softbox wise, this small softbox is basically proportional to using a larger 32 inch softbox on a human when I'm photographing one of my dolls. It allows me to have a very portable main light kit for the type of photos I'm taking and for that, I love it.Where it loses a star for me is only that it doesn't seem to attach as easily or as well as the dish reflector that comes with the Lux Master by default. Aside from that I really can't find anything else to complain about.

Hard to secure to flash
Not the best build as it's difficult to secure to the flash. Afraid it's going to smash the bulb when it does accidentally fall off.

Good for what it's for
It's designed for the Godox Lux Master Retro flash and does fit. Couple things, though. First off, the point of a softbox is to diffuse and soften the light. But because this one is still a relatively small light source, your light it still going to be on the harder side. Yes, it softens, but it's a cumbersome method given its relatively small size. Secondly, to open it up, you have to use the center screw to tighten and hold the umbrella arms in place. Given the tightness and pressure, good luck with that. On a flash. Definitely do not attempt this with the flash on your camera. So, small size (limited softening) and hassle assembly makes this a pass for me. The only reason to own this is if you own that specific flash, and you have $25 you need to burn.

Usefull but could be easier to install
I wanted to get on here and help some others out. I like the product but it didn't have any instructions and I struggled for 10 minutes before I figured out the easiest way to install it. What worked best for me is NOT expanding the softbox, but instead guiding the collapsed umbrella into the socket and then twisting. THEN opening it and doing the rest. Dont forget to pop your bulb out after! Hope this helps.

Hard to install, does the job
Well, it is a must-have if you enjoy your Godox LuxMaster Retro Camer Flash. It's well-built, very lightweight, and easy to carry. However, the installation could be more fun. It uses a threaded knob to open up the umbrella, and due to the hard tension, it's tough to assemble. Also, be careful about the icon wire around the corner! (pic #3)
