Stainless steel screws!!
Was told by competitive screw manufacturer not to use their screws because we are within 1000 ft of the ocean, They recommended Simpson stainless as the only screw that would stand up to conditions. They were a bit expensive but they worked great. Screwed down patio rail through tile. Put them in with silicone to stop water penetration. Expect they will last for years.

Quality but...
They certainly feel sought stout compared to other 1/4 inch screws but there were only 24 in the box, at this price point I would expect to get the full 25.
