I have to say I am pretty impressed with these hair elastics. Originally I purchased them for my baby niece who is almost 2. However when they arrived I thought I would test them on my super long hair. My hair isn't really thick its just really long like down past my butt crack long. With that being said since there is so much of it it gets heavy to hold up. I didnt intend on them actually working for me I just wanted to play around. Well to my surprise they work great! I did end up sending only a few upstairs for my niece and the majority of the bag sits on my bureau for my own use. Even though these are smaller elastics they have a good stretch to them and they wrap around my pony tail atleast 3 times. I dont get a headache using these and my hair does feel secure. What an unexpected surprise. I notice they actually have larger elastics that I may have to try out. If you are tied of the hair elastics in your drawer pulling on your hair all day or snapping while you are trying to use them give these babies a try I dont think you will be disappointed. I know im not!

Wish these were like the multicolor pack I ordered previously. Decided to order these because I wanted more muted colors. Great quality but much thicker and less stretchy than expected.

best purchase ive made in a very long timeim a 55 year old man , Native American , the only time in my life I had short hair was during my 4 years in the Navy , presently my hair is below my belt line , the older I get the more brittle my hair becomes and the Goodie ties would pinch my hair and I could literally feel them breaking my hairfrom the moment I put these ties in I knew straight away that these were the ties ive been waiting for , it felt like when Goodie came out with ties that had no metal connector , its that much of a game changerim a carpenter so my hair takes a beating so I use multiple ties to manage it and keep it safe around equipment , all day from the second I put these in not one single time did I feel so much as a inkling that they were pulling , im telling you , you do not even feel them in your hair , you feel the pony tail , but not a single tieany one that says any different , or has anything negative to say about these ties is someone who has a screw loose, there are only two instances that I write a review , if im either very to extremely pleased , or very to extremely not pleased , I do not waste time with products that are what you pay for , , I do not know how else to put it other than if you have long hair and am tired of your ties breaking your hair ,you have to have these , you literally have nothing to loose but a few bucks but what you gain is a brush not filled with your hair

I have a very sensitive scalp and yet need to wear my old fragile hair in a protective hair style to lessen breakage.I'd just about given up on braids, The bands I've tried all pulled and hurt. Ordering these was a last resort.Well, the last resort works, and what a pleasure to be able to secure my braids with no pain!

I've been using these ties (to be correct, one or them) for two weeks now. They are the most amazing perfect hairties ever. I have very long, thick, heavy asian hair that usually manages to snap or overstretch the classic thick black hair elastics. I also need to tie my hair up into a bun for work everyday but I have a tendency to let that bun down and then retie it many times a day, so in short: I really use and abuse hairties a lot. These elastics are astoundingly strong and stretchy and they recover to about 90% of their original strength even after the above abuse. They can't break because they are literally seamless so I can easily go three times around a ponytail and twice around a bun without destroying the elastic or my fingers. They hold my hair up very very tightly and I am thrilled I can sport a high pony or a topknot for an entire day with just one of these. When not in use they ride along comfortably on my wrist and take up the space of two classic hair elastics stacked next to each other. I foresee each hairtie lasting several months or more; to be honest, I'll probably lose them before they ever wear out they're that good. So I expect this pack will last my lifetime. Easily one of the best purchases of my life and I wish I'd known about them sooner!!!Update: 2/11/18 - I am still using the SAME SINGLE HAIR TIE from my first post. So since I got them, I've only been using one. Because it is that amazing. And it is showing no signs of wearing out or needing to be replaced. This stuff is GOLD...and I have 99 pieces of gold left :)

These work for basic hairstyles. They do have some stretch but last well. I have purchased these multiple times and am not disappointed

I just checked to see when I bought these and it's been 5 years. I love these things and have never gone back to hairbands that eventually stretch out and lose their elasticity. 100 was honestly way more than I'll ever need (just found the package with most still in it) even though I keep a bunch of at-home and to-go backups. Except for very occasionally losing one I don't go through them. I've used the same one or two for a long time. My hair is on the finer side and these go around it three times tightly for a bun or four to five times to tightly secure my braid. I wear one pretty much all day and all night and they rarely slip off. No issues with them stretching/wearing out or breaking.I was just discussing durable hairbands with someone and went to find them in my order history. Might as well finally give them my review!

I bought a pack of these hair ties in 2020. I still have a few left in the pack but am here to buy my second pack. You can't beat the value.I wear my hair up every single day, and these ties last forever. I have thick hair - The elasticity has never gone bad with these hair ties. These are super gentle on your hair and they do not ever pull or rip you hair causing damage. Lastly, you get so many. They are amazing!!!!!! Buy them!!!!

Not same quality as before reorders these from previous order and loved them before just got them and not even the same quality waste of money.

I first came across this type of elastic in Central America when I ran out of my standard hair elastics and needed to tie away my tresses. I am very happy with this bag of elastics, I got the mixed natural colours and they are great. I use the black ones when I'm wearing black or bright colors, and the light brown one matches my hair perfectly when I want a more subtle or natural look. The dark brown ones work for my partner and he likes the grey ones too. The blonde ones I am going to give away as we won't ever use them. They are super comfortable to wear and stretchy enough to wrap around hair multiple times if you want to do a messy updo, but also work great for regular pony tails or braids. Eventually this type of band starts showing signs of wear, the (white) elastic inside starts becoming visible, but you can trim it. They do also stretch but this doesn't bother me. I still have two of the ties I bought when traveling and that was 4 years ago, they are wide now but that just means you have to wrap them a few extra times. Love 'em!

I really like these stretchy hair ties. I have fine hair that doesn't hold well in some other ties, but these arw great. I like that it doesn't pull out my hair when I take it out. Great buy. I've bought more expensive ones that don't work as well.
