Stainless Steel Chinese Cleaver with Brass and Wood Handle

Good, sharp, reasonable price. This is a basic cleaver and has been functional for almost a year now. I use it regularly and it hasn't need to be sharpened. I will say that the cleaver I received is not the cleaver pictured. If aesthetics are important, I would think twice about purchasing this as you might get a different looking cleaver.

I purchased this very knife from a local Asian market b/c I wanted to see if I would like this kind of knife being I've never used one. It was 1/2 the price of Amazon's! It has a good weight to it and is very sharp! I plan to upgrade in the future, but for now this knife looks, feels and performs like a more expensive knife.

A great little cleaver for the kitchen! Razor sharp and will slice frozen Jimmy Dean Sausage with ease!

Knife is well constructed and nicely made. Not as hefty as it appears subsequently doesn't work as well as hoped on bones. The blade arrived sharp but not quite sharp enough to be used as a Chinese Cleaver is typically used. It gets sharped regularly with a stone.
