Does well at Cone 10
This wire has withstood a high fire glaze run at Cone 10 when I've used it for ceramics. It does discolor some but the portion outside the clay does not melt/break during the firing. I find it suitable for jewelry as a finding or hanging pieces from firing fixtures when you want to glaze all but the hole.

This works as I intend it to
I've only used a short portion so far, but it has performed just as I expected it to. Using it to soften plexiglass so that it can be bent 90 degrees. With the right voltage and current running through it, it heats up the area to be bent just as it should. I used a spring on one end to maintain tension on the wire, keeping it straight.Happy so far.
