I had One of these belts for my father and it was a little bit too small. It went all the way to the end. So we sent it back and got another one in return very quickly and it works perfect. It's like a ratchet or kind of like a zip tie, except it comes out after releasing the pin to release it, but it just clicks in. Like a zip tie, so it doesn't have any holes, so it secures any size. Your waist is whether it's 35 and 116th. It'll get to that size. It's worth the price all day. Although if you're looking for a high end quality leather belt, this isn't it

Most men's belt buckles are very squared off on top, and it was causing me some irritation when seated at some restaurants with very upright booths. These aren't squared off on top, and don't ever cause me any grief.They also look great, and the ratchet functionality works quite well. The only down side is that you need to kind of get used to the action: for example, if you don't stuff the belt tip directly into the holder as it passes through the buckle, you won't be ABLE to get it in afterward, because there isn't enough flex to bend it. Same thing tends to go for the first belt loop you put the remainder through, after the bracket. It also takes a little while to get used to the release lever for the belt, which doesn't have a very intuitive "feel" to it if you've forgotten how it works.Once you get used to those quirks, it's just plain and simple a great belt, that you can tighten or loosen to EXACTLY where you would like it to be. Highly recommended.

They are very nice looking with what seems to be a very good ratcheting and locking mechanism. Time will tell as to how well they will hold up but for now very pleased with this purchase. So much easier to use and adjust than the old style belts with holes. I will never go back to them!
