An interesting personal historical perspective
This period in Argentina was full of complex social and political change that is well-observed by Thomas Kinder. This book contains an edited commentary of his diaries and then the actual diaries themselves. As an Anglo-Argentine I have a particular interest in the history of British influence in the River Plate region but I think anyone with an interest in South America would find this a good read.
