Being a die hard Metallica fan all I can say is that his album is a Masterpiece \m/.Title track is just perfect to introduce what kind of album they are offering. After that Shadows Follow immediately became my favorite track when the album released, it has those groovy papa get riffs which I totally love. Papa Het made me fall in love with riffs and this album has tons of epic riffs 🤘🏻. Chasing Light, Sleepwall my live away, Inamorata, If darkness had a son, Screaming suicide, 72 seasons, Shadows follow are my top favorite tracks from the album. The best part about this album is that each and every track is someone's favorite which totally shows how good and versatile Metallica still is. Metallica Rules \m/

Great album after 7 years of their last release. Received in good condition. Packaging could have been better.

I waited a while to order it after being slightly disappointed with their latest material. All I can say is that I am in awe. I listened to the CD about 5-6 times before making this review. The more I listen to this CD, the more I appreciate how this band has evolved. Long gone are the days of Ride the Lightening, Master of Puppets and Justice for All which we all liked and still do. They will never return. This release reminds me that it doesn't matter. It might not be as heavy, the songs may not be as complex or long as they used to be but the guys still have it and then some. It is clear to me that they were inspired when they wrote it. I might not like it as much overall as the three titles I mentioned before but this one comes really close. I prefer it to the black album. It's at least as good as disc 1 of Hardwired to Self Destruct and better than Death Magnetic which I like. There is no filler. Although I think all the titles are solid, I prefer the second half of the album starting with Lux Aeterna. Chasing Light is excellent and If Darkness Had a Son is my favorite title so far. Metallica could stop now if they wanted and this album would be an excellent last opus in their glorious reign on the metal world. I certainly hope it's not the last but I feel it will be very difficult to surpass. For those who have been waiting in fear of being disappointed, fear no more, get it, listen to it with an open heart and mind and be amazed. Listen to it on a good sound system if possible. There is great guitar playing and drums that need to be appreciated on a medium that can deliver. One last note of interest that has nothing to do with the music itself: The album cover and what's inside is ridiculously cool. The excellent black and white photography of the band members is haunting. One can see and feel the passage of time on their faces. Broken, beat and scarred like James would say. They are still on top after all these years ! Long live Metallica !

El precio evidentemente estaba en más de mil pesos, aunque eso es normal cuando el producto se encuentra en preventa, si lo monitoreas regularmente baja bastante y al menos yo lo conseguí a muy buen precio considerando que es la versión para USA, Canadá y Europa. Este disco cuando lo encuentres en Mix Up te lo van a vender más caro y con toda seguridad va a ser una edición nacional.Las imágenes no son mías (vienen de Discogs.com) pero las pongo para que chequen que en verdad no es una edición tan simple. El disco viene en un slipcase con la ya conocida portada y del otro lado un efecto como de rejillas que forman el "72", en el fondo se puede apreciar el rostro de James. Sacas el digipack y es negro con los paneles hacia afuera y con las fotos de la banda, por dentro el diseño más simple en amarillo, el booklet aparte con las letras y la información del disco.Vuelvo a repetir, yo lo conseguí a muy buen precio, y siempre vale la pena un CD importado ya que aquí solo por ese detalle te cuestan entre $300-$900.En cuanto a la música, no soy un gran fan de Metallica pero siempre es grato escucharles, estos últimos lanzamientos (pese a tantas críticas) no son extraordinarios pero cumplen, tienen algunos temas bastante pegadizos, otros flojos pero con buenos riffs y momentos. Si eres fan lo vas a adorar, y si solo eres un melómano no está de más en tu colección.Recomendaciones: "72 Seasons", "Screaming Suicide", "Sleepwalk My Life Away", "If Darkness Had A Son", "Room Of Mirrors", "Inamorata".
