Wow! These are very comfy - I've been using almost daily for several weeks. The first few times it was a little bit uncomfortable, but similar to a good stretch. now they are part of my nightly relaxation routine. it really helps to lubricate the skin just a bit before putting them on - I use Burt's Bees peppermint foot cream and it really intensifies the experience, or sometimes use them during foot spa. I wear heels or stilettos everyday to work and I'm so happy I found these smart toes!

After wearing pointy-toed high heels all day, SmartToes is such a welcome relief! In the interest of full disclosure, I will say that SmartToes does hurt a little bit when I first put them on -- understandable when my toes are being stretched after having been squished together for hours. Only one fits. They were both for the right foot. That's very annoying for me. I have tried every which way but Sunday to make them work, and it doesn't work. Don't have time to send them back. Wish people could get things right the first time around.

I ended up buying "correct toes" and liked it a lot better than this product. Correct toes is much more expensive but it was worth the money for me.

BACKGROUND: I got these after 30 years of suffering in poor fitting shoes due to really large, wide feet. All my toes are curled under, the littlest two severely to the point the pinkie toe is almost curled under and into the next toe over. I've never had pain from it but developed hip and knee problems as a runner. Recovering from that, I started doing yoga and have had many instructors comment that my foot posture frequently is throwing off my alignment. I started doing research if there was help to correct my toes and found these.EXPERIENCE WITH PRODUCT: I just got these two days ago and the first time I put them on, they were PAINFUL. Again, i do have large wide feet (W 10.5 EE). My toes felt compressed beyond their limit. Instructions said to leave them on 10 minutes but I was not convinced I could tolerate that much. I toughed it out but then was AMAZED after taking them off how great and balanced my whole foot felt. Doing yoga, I could stand in mountain pose and feel contact with the ground in all my toes and all points of my foot for the first time. That convinced me to not throw it out as I'd considered after how painful it was at first.This is definitely not something I'd walk around the house in but I've done a few more short sessions with these on, still painful but the pain is lessening each time and I can feel positive results after each time.I am not sure if pain is always to be expected but a product like this for large/wide feet would be appreciated if the squeezing pain from using it is not normal. The product itself says expect some discomfort but does not say what size feet it was made to fit.

Not sure if it is going to get rid of my bunions but it does seem to help relieve my toes when they are tired. I did make the mistake in doing some yoga in them. My back hurt the next day. Wont do that again.

I highly recommend SmartToes for anyone who is on their feet all day or who just can't give up those killer heels! I purchased my SmartToes on the advice of a friend who wears heels to work every day, and thus always had achy feet at the end of the day. I started using my SmartToes to relax my feet at the end of the day. My toes get a good stretch and, oddly enough, I feel like I have a bit more energy after using them too! Finally, a few weeks ago I discovered an added bonus of the SmartToes. After a night out dancing in "way too high" heels, I came home and, after putting the SmartToes in the freezer for 5 minutes I put them on for awhile. Oh what a relief it was! I use this product to walk comfortable in bare foot when not wearing my shoes with orthotics. The new design seems hardier than the original, but is somewhat harder to put on especially out of the box. I recommend the light use of a personal lube like astroglide between the toes to ease putting them on and to minimize the friction of the break-in period.
