We used these CASTER WHEELS to replace the wheels in one of those LARGE 3-BIN STERILITE ORGANIZERS. We got the locking ones with 1/2" long 6mm stems & 2" wheels. We used Electrical tape on the screw stems to push them snugly in the holes (the holes on ours were not spiraled). They seem like they'll work PERFECTLY for this purpose. Seem sturdy for light to medium weight loads. Locking function seems good. MUCH better price than replacement ones from the original company. Happy we found this easy solution for our child to take these bins to college.

These match the wheels that were included with another shelving unit I bought. Definitely not heavy duty but they seem to hold about 75 pounds with no problems. They roll pretty easily, and the locking mechanism is a handy feature.

Great caster set, and affordable. Make sure you need a M6 size thread pattern.

Rubber inserts that the caster were inserted into required to be drilled to larger size but once inserted worked well and rolled smoothly.

I purchased these about a year ago. Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience. I used them to replace the originals on my 4 chairs and 3 of the casters have already broken. I will search for metal casters instead of plastic.

I put them on a coffee table and then put books. It was not full of books and I’m guessing under the weight it says it can hold but the wheels were sinking under the weight and not rolling easily or well.

I like that these casters fit perfectly into the stem opening of my Royal paper shredder. It’s at least 15 years old and works great. But one of the wheels broke. I ordered this set. To install, I had to press down hard to get them in. It didn’t go in at first. More like 1/3 of the stem. I tried another caster in another wheel area. I went back and pressed and it went in snugly and easily. (That was the first caster I tried) . Had that happen with all 4 of the wheels. I’m going to order a second set. I’m a “just in case” person.

I got these wheels for a folding table i have in my room. Needed to find some that fit the swivel caster stem sleeves I installed in the table legs, these were the closest in size. Quality is pretty decent, they roll just fine, and they are a bigger size which I like.
