At first I found this a bit strange as it needs to be correctly positioned on the upper back. Once this was done, I managed to direct the kneading to exactly the spot where I had the knots in my shoulder blade and it was a super relief. Great to get to those muscle pains that you cant reach yourself! I also like using it on my calf muscles after being on my feet all day and it feels like a really natural massage with a deep pressure. Now that I am used to it, I find it easy to position and direct to the area I need massaged. Seems to hold its charge for a long time and its great that there is such a long warranty.

I have tried a few shoulder massage units having inherited a strong back genetically. This one has slightly more of a hard plastic firmness to it and can be a bit monotonous with the same motion. I find myself shifting my neck and head to get a more well rounded massage, but no harm in that. On balance it is a good product for the price. More expensive brands have a more realistic touch (slightly softer heads replicate the thumbs and fingers) and a more realistic motion (slight up and down) when comparing machine type of massage to a professional massage. -Of course, nothing can beat a professional massage. I have found it has added benefit of using on my legs; which is great after a long hike. You can adjust your lower legs (calf muscles) at an angle between rotating heads to find the right amount of pressure and squeezing motion to your liking. I recommend at a 4 of 5 stars and will continue to use. More expensive brands will cost more, but can reach the full 5 stars.

I’ve actually bought a number of different massaging machines due to a bad back. I had really high hopes for this one, but sadly, they are better out there. This one is just a bit clumpy and as much as it does your neck and shoulders (not brilliantly either) it’s really very uncomfortable moving it around to other areas in the back and has no impact.

On a product where I refused to provide a 4 or 5 star rating, they didn't use my review. I purchased a cordless neck massager many years ago and remember being surprised how similar it was to getting a real massage. It even had advantages over going to a masseuse – such as being available at short notice 24/7! Well, it transpires things have moved on in the world of neck massagers and this 2.0 version – instead of using rotating balls – has, what I can only describe as, nodules. These nodules move in and out while rotating and more closely mimic the actions of an authentic massage. Because of the way this system operates, it also provides a much deeper massage than the balls provided. That said you control the depth by pulling on the handles – so it can be a light massage if preferred. While this product is mostly made of plastic, it looks like leather and feels to be a premium product. It also offers the option of high/low intensity massage, different massage modes and has two heat settings. I’m really enjoying using this neck massager and it’s something I’ll be calling on regularly to both destress and relax.

I ordered this product as opposed to competing products because I have bought several Comfier products in the past and found them to be reliable and comfortable. This was no different. The unit arrived swiftly after ordering and arrived well packaged. What I like about this product is the thoughtful design features, it has useful hand straps to keep the unit in place, these are comfortable and not obstructive. The massage unit is covered with a soft durable material that is comfortable on the skin. The well designed neck area of the unit sits comfortably on the neck and delivers a soothing experience directly to the right parts of the next. It is not painful to use and is very relaxing and soothing. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is amazing I have suffered with my back long time and nothing I have tried has really been any good so thought on let’s try this ….. first put it on my neck …. Oh my days then on my back where I have pain …… it feels exactly like someone’s hands giving a deep massage it is amazing I can’t recommend enough
