Clairol Nice'n Easy Crème Permanent Hair Dye, 6 Light Brown, 220g

I’ve used Clairol Nice’n Easy Crème 4G (Dark Golden Brown) a few times now and it’s consistently impressive. The product is really easy to mix and apply – the instructions are clear, and the crème formula makes it less messy than some other dyes I’ve tried. The colour turned out exactly as described on the box – a rich, dark golden brown with a natural-looking warmth. It gave my hair great shine and depth, without looking flat or fake. Best of all, the colour lasts really well. Even after a few weeks and several washes, it still looks vibrant and fresh. Definitely a reliable and affordable option if you’re looking for beautiful, salon-quality results at home. Highly recommend!

I have used this hair colour a few times now. My hair is naturally Auburn and trying to re-create that, now I am going grey, has proved problematic to say the least. This is the closest colour that I can get although it is still a little pale. I must admit I was a bit put off using it for a while before I actually bought some as I have used Nice n Easy years ago and found the smell to be awful. In desperation I gave in and bought this and was pleased to say that the smell is so much better now thank you hardly notice it at all. It works pretty much like most box dyes work and it’s not too difficult to apply although I mix it in a hair dye bowl and use a brush to apply it because that works better for me. I like that after rinsing it you can use shampoo, as a lot of hair dyes say that you can’t use this, and it does make your hair feel cleaner which I like. The overall colour is good but I just wish it didn’t fade quite so quickly. My hair has been damaged in the past but I didn’t find this made it any worse and the conditioner that is included really helps my hair to feel softer. As mentioned, this is slightly lighter than I really would like so I did try one shade darker which was a big mistake and so I will definitely go back to this colour. I think the price is fair and it is obviously a whole lot cheaper than having your hair done in the salon!

Lovely colour, smelled good and trusted product

Very nice shade of brown, applies well and covers different coloured patches of hair. I have shoulder length hair for reference and bough two boxes and this was more than enough product to evenly and thoroughly apply. I have washed my hair a few times since applying and the colour has held up fairly well. Will reapply again in a couple of weeks - roughly around 4 weeks after applying. I also used the conditioner afterwards, which I tend not to be a fan of as I usually do not like fragrance as I find they can smell the same and very chemical like but this was very pleasant and made my hair feel super soft, I will use this as a hair mask even when not colouring. The product at first seems quite dark when wet, as do most hair dyes, but once dried and in different light, the colour leans a nice shade of cool brown. I would highly recommend this product and will buy again to top up the roots.

Im in my 30s and have been prematurely greying. within 1st photo is my natural hair colour. 2nd photo is after using this product. I found it was really easy to do by myself, and result had good full coverage I was very pleased.
