Any port in a storm
Finding a balanced 4.4mm Pentacon cable to use Sennheiser HD560S cans with an iFi Zen DAC for isn't easy. The 560s appear to accept the same 2.5mm connector as the Momentum series. Push in the 2.5mm connector, and twist maybe 1/4 turn clockwise to lock into place. So I took a chance and bought this cable. Nope. The small plastic locking ring at the base of this cable's 2.5mm end hold the connector just a tad too far out to permit a solid connection. I took an Exacto knife and carved out the small amount of extra plastic, and the connector now works fine. The cable itself sounds fine. As others have reported, the Zen DAC's balanced headphone outs sound substantially better than the unbalanced output. I think that's because the Zen uses better amplifiers on the balanced out, but perhaps balanced sounds just a little better, too.I do think this cable could be a little longer. It's too short to use sitting in a chair 6' from the Zen, and good luck finding an extension. Finally, the cable itself is rather stiff, and it can be somewhat microphonic if hits a desk or other hard surface. But I'm happy to have found this cable, and delivery was quick. As they say, any port in a storm.

Good Cable for Sennheiser Momentum Series Headphones
It works for the Sennheiser HD1. Good quality connectors. The headphone connector locks in place perfectly. The cable is a bit stiff, but I believe this is probably normal for "balanced" cables as there is one additional conductor.
