Premium Ultrasuede Step-In Dog Harness by Susan Lanci Designs

I have a Yorkie puppy, who now weighs 2.9 lbs. I have had a horrible time trying to find a collar or harness to fit her, even the XX-small and teacup sizes swallowed her. This made it difficult to work with training her, since she was so distracted by an ill fitting harness/collar. This harness fits her better than any of the other brands or styles that I have purchased. With the simple, single closure, it is very easy to put on and take off. I like that it doesn't cover as much of her body as other styles have, which is important in the hot climate where we live. I have not experienced any problems with stretching, as another purchaser indicated had been their experience. The fabric is holding up well so far. I love how easy it is to put this on and take it off, especially a squirming puppy. It is still a little bit too big for her, but I think as she continues to grow it will fit her very well. Even though it doesn't fit exactly, just yet, it fits well enough that she is more cooperative with this on, rather than any of the other harnesses or collars I have tried. I like that they step into 2 holes, you snap one seat belt type clasp and it is on. The fit is exactly as demonstrated in the puppy in the on-line picture.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and style of this harness and would highly recommend, especially if you have a tiny little dog/puppy. My only complaint, and the reason I only gave 4 starts, is that it is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED for the amount of materials and lack of complexity in the design. Other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase.

The XXS harness I ordered came today 12/23 --- before Christmas. I wasn't expecting it until next year. It is beautifully made and light weight. Most importantly ---- IT FITS my small dog perfectly and it is easy to put on. I have bought so many that say they are XXS but Chloe just walks out of them. They even have a size smaller than the one I bought, but they give measurements for the harness which helps in getting the wright size. I guess you get what you pay for. I might buy another one if I can get it in light pink or lavender.

I absolutely love the this Susan Lanci harness that I ordered for my now 3.8 lb, 5 month old Maltese puppy. I have been using it since she was about three months old and have no complaints. It's really easy to slip on and off which is important when you're dealing with a small wiggling puppy who you're trying to race outside for potty breaks. I also really like how lightweight and soft it is--my puppy got use to the harness in about two days after wearing it for short time periods. Finally, I really like that the harness is machine washable. I've washed it twice and both times grass stains have come out of the light pink fabric. I recommend this harness for a small dog and suggest buying the Susan Lanci leash to match. I do think that if your dog's girth is on the smaller size 10-10.5 inches, I would go a size down. My puppy is almost full-grown with a girth of 10.5 inches and while this size fits, it's pretty loose and in the future when I order her another one I will buy a smaller size.

I bought this harness for my Maltese puppy, love it, easy to put on and is super soft compared to other harnesses, high quality and would recommend.

True to size....no stretch.

Bought this for my mini dachshund who is hard to fit. This style works well due to his deep chest and the harness doesn't cut in to him. Highly recommended. Very soft!

loved it but after a few months she outgrew it.

This harness is beautiful, but I received wrong size. I plan to return it.
