I want to thank Ausemku for making such a sturdy shower curtain rod, because I would be severely injured, or even dead, right now if they hadn't made it as strong as they did. A few days ago, I lost my balance and slipped in the shower a few minutes after I got in. I grabbed the shower curtain to steady myself, but my feet slipped out from under me, and I started falling back toward the front end of the shower. I held onto the shower curtain as I fell, and the shower curtain rod supported my weight for a substantial amount of time before collapsing, which was enough to break most of my fall. I can tell you with 100% certainty that, based on how I fell and landed, my head would have slammed full force into the solid steel tub spout, and I would have had at least several broken bones on top of that, if the shower curtain rod had not broken part of my fall. It slowed my descent enough that I missed the tub spout by mere inches, and I only ended up with a handful of bruises across my body. The shower curtain rod held on so hard as I was falling that when it finally did collapse, it ripped the paint clear off the wall where it had been affixed, which is impressive strength considering this is a tension rod with no adhesive. 5 stars will never be enough to convey my appreciation for how sturdy this was made. Overall, I highly recommend this shower curtain rod because it might be a lifeline for other people, as it was for me.

Completed a new tiled shower enclosure. While waiting for the shower glass to be fabricated, used this as a temporary solution to hang a shower curtain. It works and holds up a single layer plastic shower curtain. Easy assembly and avoided drilling holes. Not super strong and would not want this for a long-term solution, but worked for my application.

This is a great shower curtain rod! I think I have purchased 4 now and they are very easy to put up, they stay up nicely and they come with enough rod for an extra large area. The instructions are easy, rods are easy to add, just twisting them on. Using all but the one rod is enough for standard bathtub sizes and the hooks slide relatively easily over the rods. They have a nice sleek look as well.
