Good protective case for my clarinet
Very speedy delivery, thanks. It feels like a sturdy yet lightweight case for my clarinet with, importantly for me, a shoulder strap. The widest part of the bell is stored on the edge of the case so it's taken a bit of easing to get the case lid over it and the zip close over it - hopefully that will improve/ease with use. NB. I've found that part of the problem is that the 'material hinge' folds over the bell of the clarinet as the case is closed, which exacerbates the difficulty in closing the lid.I also find that the sip around the outside of the case can be a little difficult to navigate as it's very tight. Also the weight of the clarinet in the case moves the centre of gravity outwards so take care if you want it to stand on it's feet as it then has a tendency to topple. Of course, it's a decent case, so the clarinet is unlikely to come to harm because of this! Putting any weight in the outside pockets will aggravate this...I already have the saxaphone case so know my clarinet will be well protected in this case.

Almost a 5 star case.
It's very lightweight and easy on the hands to carry - the case I replaced dug into my fingers with every step I took. It has little pockets in the back pack handles which we have designated as snack pockets - always useful. Look really neat and tidy, great that it's water resistant, protective inside and fits the instrument well. The case is nearly as big as my child so it's difficult for her to walk with it on her bike, a problem that will obviously ease with time. The pocket on the side is just too small to carry an A4 book so it's not really useful when going to school if you need to carry anything else at all that you don't want to fold. The bell of the trombone is by your head when worn as a rucksack so you have to walk with a slight bend in your head - as a masseuse, I don't like that at all.Overall it's a good case and reasonable compared to lots of others out there. I learned to play a small instrument so I guess this is just what comes when you play and larger one.

Excellent!
We recently upgraded my daughter's Sax so wanted a decent case to protect it that was also OK looking, comfy to carry and had enough room for sheet music. This bag does all of the above - plus it has the added bonus of being able to carry it on your back if needed.I am very pleased with the quality of it and feel like it will last a long time (fingers crossed). For the money (£60) I think it's a great bag.

Great quality for the price!
Great case for my medium size, fixed bell, horn. The backpack-straps are lightly padded and adjustable, and can be hidden under a cover if not in use. The detachable one-shoulder strap is also great, and long enough that it's easy to carry even when wearing a backpack and carrying other items as well.Nice pocket (it's actually two - the small one in front fits a small music stand, while the large on in the bag can take quite large-sized shet music (but not all my orchestra originals, unfortunately). The interior of the case itself is well padded, but somewhat simple - would have loved room for another mouthpiece and small nicknacks.All-in-all, a well crafted case for the prize, and it arrived quicker than expected.Ps. I had to send my horn as checked baggage in it just days after the new case arrived, and both the case and the horn seem unharmed.

Nice but not perfect
Wanted a new case to see me through until I chose a more substantial one that I like. This case is nice looking, has a sporty look to it, and compact but the clarinet does not fit as well as I want it to. It should sink into the moulded compartments but I had to give it a bit of a helping hand. I have a buffet crampon E11 Bb clarinet so not an obscure make. Otherwise it's great. 2 zip pockets at the front for accessories and a second barrel space also.

Average Quality
Bag is okay for the price. Our yamaha clarinet fitted a bit loose. Bag is a nice colour and material. Front pocket is smaller than expected useful only for spare reeds. You need an additional bag to carry music books etc. If I had seen the bag I would not have bought it. I didn't return it as I would have enough time to buy a replacement in time for Christmas. Not an equal replacement of the original Yamaha clarinet case.

We like that it is much more protective than a gig ...
This is a proper case (not a gig bag) with shoulder straps (can be worn with either a single shoulder strap or as a backpack). We like that it is much more protective than a gig bag (and heavier, but that's necessarily the case). However, the stitching is beginning to come off the shoulder straps after about 10 months of use. No idea how much longer it will last, but hopefully long enough until our child can be trusted to carry his instrument in a gig bag.

A great, compact and sturdy case
I bought this case with my fingers crossed. Info regarding it was limited on many websites. It's a hard shell case (which wasn't clear from descriptions, but looked like it was) covered in fabric. It feels very sturdy. There is no room for mutes but there is a small slot inside for valve oil (or a specialist mouthpiece that doesn't fit the mouthpiece hole).
