A Movie For the Whole Family
I was completely surprised by this film. Its appeal is to everyone, not just kids, who have ever had an imaginary friend growing up.Ryan Reynolds and thevrest of the cast put in great performances and the ending is not what you’ll expect. The 4K blu ray is beautiful! Sharp, crisp with excellent sound. I’m not a crier, but this film almost had me there at the end. Maybe a little corny and sentimental, but worth the viewing time.Delivery was great, received when expected.Buy it, sit down with the kids and enjoy!BTW, my kids are long since grown, I’m not a kid anymore but this was really enjoyable. Tv commercials sold me on getting it. Hope this review convinces you.

Laughed so hard I snorted!
Saw this in theaters on a whim. I had no idea what it was about until I saw a quick trailer on the day I decided to go see a movie. I laughed so hard and almost all the way through. A few parts brought tears. A throughly enjoyable movie. Left the theater with a smile on my face and my heart full. A must see, but only for those adults who are willing to let their inner-child out to play. 😀

Heart Warming
This movie is fabulous. I absolutely loved it and I am an adult over 65. It is so charming and so heartwarming and has a wonderful message. I think I’ve watched it five times and I haven’t had it that long.

Cute and Charming By The End, With A Very Slow Start
🍿 🍿 🍿1/2 (Out of 5)Director, writer, co-producer and the father character in the film as well, John Krasinski gives us a strange but charming twist on the interpretation of almost every child’s fantasy of having and imaginary friend or “IF” as they’re referred to them in the film.Cailey Fleming plays the young daughter who has dealt with the loss of her mother and her a very fun and positive father (Krasinski) who has a surgical procedure forthcoming and her ability to suddenly see IF’s. With the support and love of her grandmother played wonderfully by Fiona Shaw, she befriends a series of CG animated creepy, weird, somewhat strange IF’s in all shapes, sizes and representations. It’s basically knowing she can see everyone's imaginary friends, she knowingly and forcefully starts herself on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids – who are now adults. With some talented voices including; Steve Carell as a furry monster, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Blossom, a rubber hose-style butterfly, Louis Gossett Jr. as Lewis, a teddy bear with much wisdom, Awkwafina as Pop, a bunch of bubbles, John Krasinski (again) as a Marshmallow, Emily Blunt as a unicorn, George Clooney as Spaceman, Bradley Cooper as a glass of ice water, Matt Damon as a sunflower, Bill Hader as a banana, Richard Jenkins as an Art Teacher and Keegan-Michael Key as a blob of slime – you’ll get some funny moments.Beautiful cinematography by Janusz Kamiński and a touching score by Michael Giacchino make this film a pleasant experience. And, except for the film taking a very long time to get the story going – about halfway through, it really tugs and pulls at your heartstrings several times. Nice family fun with a wonderful message for all.Lorenzo M
