Healthy alternative
I've been using stevia for years as a healthy alternative to sugar. There's lots of versions out there but I find this is the best. It's not cheap but it lasts a long time. You don't have to use much because it's so concentrated. If you use too much it tastes bitter. It disolves easily and we use it in hot and cold drinks, desserts, and even baking. It's my go-to sweetener.

I can easily drink 3 cups of coffee with 1/4 level teaspoonful ...
We ordered this product due to it being both organic and pure Stevia without fillers or additives. I use it in my coffee each morning since I no longer use table sugar or artificial sweetener. It takes a tiny amount to sweeten a mug of coffee since it is very concentrated. In fact, I save a small amount of coffee from each previous cup and pour fresh in without needing to use more Stevia. I can easily drink 3 cups of coffee with 1/4 level teaspoonful of this product. My husband sprinkles it on fruit and in his Keifer drink. This makes a great sugar substitute for baking and actually helps keep my blood sugar levels from going too high. The large size will last us for several months. There is no bitter aftertaste with this product like there is with other Stevia products. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a natural alternative sweetener. Update: I have received notice from one person that their product arrived without a seal and half-empty. I promptly ordered a new jar so that I can give an accurate recommendation. The jar was promptly sent from Preferred Mart in Lexington, KY through Amazon. The jar had an outer plastic ring seal and an inner, thick paper seal. It was half full but weighed accurately one pound as advertised. Why they send it in such a large jar, I don't know other than it is a very fine powder that probably packs down during production and shipment. If anyone receives an unsealed jar or thinks they received less product than they should have then please contact Amazon immediately. If you order directly from Amazon, they are very good about replacing product. If you order from another party through Amazon, you'll probably have to deal with that party directly. I've noticed that Preferred Mart is currently not advertising this product for sale although they did fulfill my request and send it as usual. I've never had issues with Preferred Mart and have been buying from them to save money.

Great for the price, sweetens with no sugar and no aftertaste
I was going to title this review "One of the better stevias on the market," but I realized it might be taken as a pun, and that would be unintentional. But it's true! I like this stevia. It's nothing out of this world, but it's definitely one of the better ones out there and probably the best for the price (at least at the time I bought it). It has a neutral flavor that makes it work in tea, coffee, oatmeal, smoothies, and whatever else you use stevia for. This container is big enough to last you for literal years, even if you drink tea/coffee every day like me.Some people seem to be extra sensitive to any type of stevia. My mom swears she can taste a "bitter aftertaste" every single time she uses it. I have never experienced this with any brand of stevia, so I'm starting to think that it might vary from person to person rather than from brand to brand. To my palate, the aftertaste of artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and saccharin are much more intense.Note that this is the concentrated type of stevia and won't work for baking purposes -- there is no filler in it, so a single teaspoon is way too much for even a large cup of coffee. I saved a tiny scoop from when I used to purchase smaller quantities of stevia and I use that to portion it -- I believe it's something like 1/16 or 1/32 of a teaspoon. That's really all you need. If you are trying to bake sugar-free, you'll need to either drastically alter the wet-dry proportions to use this, or pick a more 1:1 sugar sub like erythritol or xylitol. They also have stevia blends for baking out there, which are thickened up with some kind of filler.A much better deal than buying one of those tiny containers for $8 at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Just be sure to portion properly!

Better for u than sugar
I got my husband to try stevia instead of refined sugar in his morning tea. He was using an incredible amount of 4 teaspoons of sugar per cup & drank multiple cups every morning! He took a leap & changed to stevia and uses less than 1/8 teaspoon per cup! This large container actually lasts (he swears) almost a year! I'm sure his body is thankful. Stevia is very, very sweet & tastes different than sugar so use very little to start.

9x repeat buyer still coming back for more
I love stevia in my tea and coffee but not the kind that dilutes it to closer match sugar's sweetness (especially not brands that use sketchy additives to get there). Among 100% pure stevia brands, this one tastes the best to me: minimal aftertaste, no bitterness, just highly concentrated zero calorie sweetening. I just ordered my ninth 1lb jar of it. The first was around 10 years ago so a pound lasts me around a year on average.(I've even filled little ziplocks with it to take on trips where I may not have access to good stevia... it's worth the risk of the misunderstandings with TSA or law enforcement!)
