I just received this product. As I was inspecting the contents of the carry case that the meter came in I noticed there were some sort of salt deposits around the cap connected to the sensor head. After some pulling (and I've strong hands) on the cap, which was clearly stuck, I was able to get it off but then I felt a sticky sap or liquid on the sensor head; and guess what it smelled like?! Tuna juice. That's right, fishy! It must have been inserted into a fish tank or an aquaponic container of sorts. I've been an Amazon customer for 20 years and have not experienced anything like this before. BTW, this was advertised as a new product. Shame, shame, shame.
