Q: Was this kit supposed to come with pin boots for the front mine did not thanks

Pin boots are not included with these pads.

Q: Why does it advertise them as front and then say rear in the specs?

It's a misprint. I bought these and installed them on my 2010 Dodge. They are the front.

Q: Do the pads for both sides come in the box ?

Yes one set of brakes. Not front and back. Just left side and right side. Four pads in the box.
