I wanted some low energy bulbs that were not ridiculously expensive but also not the sort which when you switched the lights on had that low glow which gradually built up to being a usable amount of light after a few minutes. Yes, I've tried loads of these things over the years with very mixed results and price doesn't always seem to affect what you end up with. Happily, these seem to be doing the job very nicely. They are at full glow immediately from switching them on which is saving many a stubbed toe caused by groping round the room in the semi-darkness with purchases previous suppliers. They are not a full white but certainly white enough to read and do others jobs requiring good light. We have used them daily from purchase and though it is still early days we haven't had any bulbs 'go' as yet so I'm happy to recommend these.

Excellent bulbs,I am genuinely impressed and very happy with these LED Candle bulbs.I bought them to replace the 40w bulbs in an ornate chandelier type ceiling light in our living room.I was a little apprehensive about buying these as I thought they might not be bright enough or give off the wrong colour light. Plus there weren't any other reviews for these particular bulbs.I'm very happy to say that they are a perfect match for the old incandescent bulbs. They give off a warm bright light. Not dull. And not white light either. You wouldn't know they were LEDs.I think these bulbs are excellent value for money, and I would definitely recommend them.I hope this review was of use.

Before I start 1 of the 6 bulbs is Faulty, Flickering on and off and I have moved bulbs around to cancel out any fittings fault.The bulbs themselves give out a nice bright warm light and look great. The build is solid and look good quality. Would definitely recommend these even though one is Faulty (Not the sellars fault). If possible would like a replacement. Away from home most of the week so really haven't got time to return item any time soon.

These bulbs provide a far better light than the previous incandescent bulbs and I'm happy in the knowledge that, over time, they will provide more value for money.

SBC candle LED bulbs are hard to come by in my local shops. These were just the job thanks. They give off a nice even white light that is much nicer than filament type of bulb, or non frosted led bulb.

One bulb was a dud fortunately we required 5 lamps per Shandilya with the hopeof one spare per setup, finish one spare bulb instead of 2 , N/B this in no way can blame be attributed to the supplierLIKE THE BAD PENNY WE WILL BE BACK. They were fine until they failed.3 year guarantee not much point on a bulb by bulb replacement..."Up to 25 years extended life"... who measured that?

Rather disappointed - SEE END. These bulbs replaced older style low energy bulbs. These give instant full brightness rather than the dull slow gradual brightness of the old bulbs. I think they are also brighter than the 9W bulbs they replaced and are as bright as the 'old' 60W bulbs we used a few years ago. Other LED bulbs we have used are still going strong after a couple of years so I am optimistic that these will be as reliable - time alone will tell (hence a tentative 4 stars). AFTER 7 MONTHS ONE OF THE 5 BULBS USED FAILED. HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE 2 YEARS WARRANTY/GUARANTEE? Had these installed less than a year now and 2 have now failed and a third one is occasionally flashing - probably on its way out.
