A very heavy duty extension
This was purchased with my Lift n Go Electric Scooter Carrier, in case I needed an extension for my rear mounted RAV 4 spare tire. As it turned out, it was not needed. However, it is a very heavy duty hitch extension and will give excellent service.

I've been using this to hold a bike rack behind my jeep wrangler and to pull a light popup camper. It works great and I have no concerns about its strength or durability. It easily clears the 35" spare tire on the tail gate.

Nice product.
Works great but the fit is a little looser than I would like and it rattles. I purchased this to move my bike rack further from my hatch for better access whe the bikes are in place.

Well made steel. Turns out I didn't need it but I'll be ready If I do. Shipping was over $15 but It's a big solid chunk of steel so I can't hold that against them. Price was good but you might save a few bucks if you can pick one up at your local farm store.This is made of the same typical thick steel you'll have on most pickup truck hitches.

Hitch worked great!
I spent so much time looking locally as I didn't want to get hit with shipping charges for such a heavy item.That was time wasted. I bought it from Amazon at half the price and free shipping.The hicth worked perfectly as it extended the attach points beyond my spare tire on my RV to enable me to atach a bike rack.Item arrived at my PO Box 2 days after I ordered it.

Built for hauling
I bought this for the rear of my XUV to make hooking up a trailer to the receiver that's way in by the axel easier. It sure is and so is backing up and in tight turns the trailer doesn't hit the rear wheels. This is built for more than putting a bike rack in. For those that need an extension for the spare tire problem and want to haul a load, this is the answer. I am happy with this item. It does the job for me and more.
