G4 LED CAPSULE bulbs
Used these to replace 10 g4 halogen capsules in some garden lights - they glow far brighter and also dont need such a "meaty" transformer as they were 3w instead of 20w - however go careful as i snapped one trying to fit so they are more delicate than they look.

Very, Very disappointing — nowhere near as bright as the Halogen Capsules these LED's replaced
Bought to replace 10 x 20w Halogen Capsules used in a 10-arm ceiling light. The original Halogens were rated at 240 Lumens and the light they produced from my ceiling light filled the room with bright usable light. These 4000k LED's are rated at 300 lumens and yet it feels as if the LED's are producing only half the light the halogens did. In order to bring the room to a sufficient level of brightness I had to supplement the ceiling light with two table lamps.Also the 4000k "Daylight" the LED’s are supposed to imitate has an irritating blue tinge – it does not feel like daylight — it feels like a seedy nightclub. This ceiling light was the last one I needed to convert to LED, all the other lights in my house are already 4000k LED and the light output from them really does feel like daylight.My next task is to arrange for their return as not for purpose.
