So far, so good!! Has Not Even Shown a HINT of the Sauce Sticking or Burning.!!
I just had the Pauli Cookware 7-qt Never Burn Stock Pot delivered to me yesterday.I'm using it right now, to make some marinara sauce right now as we speak!! And so far, it has not burnt, nor is it showing any signs of sticking or scorching!! It is a very heavy pot, but so far, it is living up to it's promise that it won't make the food stick to the bottom, scorch or burn, as long as you follow the strict guidelines religiously! It's 7-layer clad bottom which has a hermetically-sealed silicone oil chamber that's sandwiched BETWEEN THE LAYERS of aluminum & steel helps the bottom of the pot maintain even temps all the way around so that your food cooks evenly with no hot spots.First, before you even WASH the pot for the very first time, looking into it, you CANNOT miss the stern warning that's permanently inscribed on the bottom interior that says; CAUTION; HIGH HEAT WILL DAMAGE THIS POT! So you MUST use either medium or low heat to make whatever you are cooking in it a complete success. Also, you should not sautee or fry anything in it. And DO NOT preheat the pot while it is empty! And it can only be washed by hand. No machine washing. Ever!I usually sautee the onions, bell pepper & celery before adding the other ingredients, but not THIS time around, I cut up the veggies, put them in the pot, then added the tomato sauce & tomato puree, some cooking oil, seasonings, a little brown sugar and some wine and let it come up to temperature of its own accord. But do not, I repeat, DO NOT try to rush the food that's in it to start cooking right away by jacking the burner up to the moon! That won't get it, and you definitely will damage the pot!Long slow simmering is how I make my sauce anyway. In the past, I had to turn the heat way, way down to avoid any sticking, scorching or burning. But medium to low heat with this pot is all that is needed, and the cooking temp will eventually be obtained. The silicone oil has to be allowed to heat upMy apartment smells just like an Italian restaurant or a pizzeria right now! But I don't get any burning smell at all. So far, I like this pot, and from now on, it WILL be the one that I'll be making spaghetti sauce in! But I'm still stirring the pot as it cooks the sauce. But don't worry, that's just me. But in an ordinary pot, the sauce would've begun to scorch & burn long time ago! But this pot is a godsend for any of you who have ended up with burnt food in the past! I love it!!~Linus Oakerie.

My husband loves it!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He LOVES to cook and has wanted a Never Burn Pot for some time. This has been used a number of times and lives up to it's name (as long as you follow their directions) over and over. Would definitely purchase another one without hesitation.

Not worth it/burns the soup
I made tomato soup with orzo in it. I never had it past 3.5 out of 10 in the heat setting. Directions which came with the pot said to never take it past medium heat, which I consider approximately a 5 out of 10 heat setting. Therefore, I never took it past the medium heat setting. And yet, the soup clearly burned. There is about a 1/8" burned crust all over the bottom of the pot. This is certainly not worth the money. Get a crock-pot instead...works better!

Nice addition to my kitchen
Intended as simmering cookware. Warning states "DO NOT USE OVER HIGH HEAT". Layered bottom does not allow for high heat cooking. Will not scorch cream based soups, for instance, if used correctly. Nice addition to my kitchen.

Best pot in my kitchen! It works—NO STICKING!!Excellent for those thick sauces and stews. I have never had a sauce to burn. I wish they were available in some smaller sizes. I would give the rating 10 stars if possible!

BEST POT I'VE EVER OWNED!
This pot is - without a doubt - the BEST way to cook homemade sauce! I used the marinara sauce recipe on the Chef's Catalog website. It was simple to make bad made the BEST sauce I EVER tasted! No more expensive store bought sauces for me! This beautifully polished stainless steel pot is built to last a lifetime. I couldn't be more pleased. Make sure you follow the directions stamped on the bottom of the pot, it should NEVER be used on high heat.
