I really do love this item! It is perfect for my needs, my shoes are organized and this makes it so much easier to find my shoes! I originally stored them in their boxes, half the time I forgot what I had stored neatly away. Don't confuse this item with heavy duty furniture. It will not stand up to abuse, it's made of PVC and fabric. I almost didn't buy this because of some of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. It was neatly packaged, all the parts were availalbe. The written instructions left a little to be desired, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how it goes together. I would say it took me about 40 minutes to assemble once I had all the parts counted and separated. The frame uses aluminum tubes and PVC connectors. The shelves are fabric and are slid over the pipe frame, then connected using the pvc connectors. You don't need to use brute force or a hammer to push the pieces together, I did not experience any splitting, cracking or warping of the frame. Assembled this holds 24 pairs of shoes. I have pumps (5" heels), booties, sandals, flip flops, sneakers, work boots, and short books stored neatly in this fabric shoe cabinet. The woven fabric cover is durable enough, but if you pull on it it will tear. The bottom of the cover uses ties to secure to the frame, I did tug a little too hard on it and one came off, but again, this is not a fine piece of furniture and for the price you pay I beleive this to be an exceptional deal. I hope others find this review helpful, I only wish I had taken picutres to post with this review. I really believe this is my best Amazon purchase! Absolutely delighted with this product!

When I was debating whether to buy this product, I saw a few reviewers had said that it was hard to assemble, but I refused to believe that it could be that difficult or time consuming. Boy, was I wrong! It took me a good hour and a half to put this together. The instructions that came with it were sparse, but I managed to figure it out on my own. However, when I had assembled most pieces, I noticed that I had attached some of the plastic connectors wrong, so I had to take some of them apart to fix the problem. If you don't mind working on putting this thing together, it may be worth it, but if you prefer something that requires minimal assembly or works out-of-the-box, this is not for you!The only other downside is the quality of the nylon material that makes up the cover and shelves. It's very thin and does not look like something that will hold up for a very long time, but I guess we'll see.Other than the difficult assembly and the questionable quality of the nylon part, there are no significant flaws. The metal tubing is light, but sturdy and fits the plastic connectors tightly. When you put all pieces together, the rack is very stable and construction seems surprisingly sturdy.

Pros:*It doesn't take up a lot of space, we were able to fit 30 pairs of heels/casual/dress/athletic shoes (size 6-9s)*The description on the page is pretty accurate.*You can zip up the front to keep shoes out of the view or keep the flaps up for easy access.Con:*There are a lot pieces to assemble. It took me about 1-2 hours to completely assemble the racks.*The material is light weight but feel a little cheap. I wish the price would be lower based on the quality of the material thus minus 1 star.*The assembly instruction is not very clear although most people should be able to figure things out after a mistake or two due to the number of different parts/pieces required for to assemble.I think this is great for people with limited living space. The shelf doesn't take up a lot of space and we were able to fit 30 pairs of shoes and keep it out of view. I wish the the quality of the material would feel a little sturdier or the cost lower. If you read the product description and know this is what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this for my girlfriend as she needed a place to put her shoes. The package came in a small box. I thought it was the wrong package. When I opened it actually came disassembled. So I ended up assembling it. Looking at the instructions was pretty simple even though it was in Chinese, I was able to look at the pictures. it took about 30 minutes to put it together, which was not a big deal. The only complaint I have is the cover. When I put the cover on it had two ties on each side of the front, which had no instructions of what to do with them, however the obvious came to mind to just tie them around the edges. As I was pulling it softly both ties from both side tore off without any effort what-so-ever. It still works but when you zip it up to open the cover you have to hold the sides, otherwise the cover just comes off.

I absolutely LOVE this shoe rack!! My shoe rack looks exactly like the picture posted. The shipping was fast and packaged very well. I was a little worried when reading the other reviews but I ordered it anyways and am very happy I did. I had no problems assembling it. Everything came together just right. I love the cover that comes with it. It keeps all my shoes neat and organized and I can chose to leave it open or close it. I wear between a 8 and 8 1/2 shoe. I have sandals, heels, tennis shoes, ankle boots, and long boots on mine. The long boots you have to fold over but that is fine by me. You can fit 3 shoes on each rack but the end shoe will hang over the edge a bit. I don't mind. Overall I am very satisfied and I would recommend this product.
