Concerned About Quality Control
I purchased this respirator because I am exposed to silica dust in a foundry environment. The face mask was disappointing and felt cheap compared to another brand I use. The straps are considerably lighter, almost flimsy and the mask itself doesn't feel like it tightens well. I planned to keep, though, until I noticed the valve cover on the inside where the filter connects was defective. The seal on the right side doesn't lay flat against the valve. It looks like the plastic part that connects the two was somehow misshaped. I'm not sure if that would affect the functionality of the respirator, but I don't want to find out the hard way! I find it surprising that something like this would even pass any kind of inspection. Sure, they're rolling off an assembly line somewhere, but this is for people who do dangerous work. Some level of oversight would be expected. I ended up returning it before actually using it.

I use this often. Definitely would buy again.

Works great east to put on and remove. Glad I had it for my tile job.

Filters do not lock in place. They can fall off.
I purchased this mask for concrete cutting and grinding. Fits well on my face. Seems to do the job. I gave a 3 star rating because the filters do NOT lock on. They can come loose and fall off while you are wearing the mask. Have to keep checking that the filter is snugly in place.
