Love this whistle has a distinct sound, works for my puppy

Always used Acme 210.5 whistles but this one is so much crisper and louder. Loving the new design too.

I couldn’t do without. Think iv brought 5 now because my puppy keeps finding it and chewing but the recall is amazing. Brilliant for when she runs off in the woods

Good colour & durable. Have been using for a few months now & the pitch is perfect. My dog responds every time even when there’s a lot of commotion going on. Easy to use . Would def recommend

I had high hopes for this dog whistle as a training aid, especially since it’s advertised to produce a clear, high-pitched sound to grab your dog’s attention. It definitely does that. The whistle is sharp, loud, and easily audible (at least to human ears), so it’s not one of those “silent” ultrasonic types. Unfortunately, my dog (a Podenco Andaluz) found the sound irritating rather than engaging. Instead of coming toward me during training, she ran in the opposite direction - clearly not a fan of the tone. It might work for some dogs, especially those used to whistle cues, but it didn’t suit mine. If your dog is sound-sensitive or not familiar with whistle training, you may want to introduce it slowly or try a different tone. Worth trying at the price, but results may vary.

Very good whistle, my collie responds really well. I was using the acme shepherds whistle, which is also good, but, the sound is not so consistent, which is mainly my fault nit the product, with this one the sound is consistent, would definitely buy again, will be getting a spare as I have become very reliant on using it in the woods etc when she isn't always visible 5 stars from me !!

If you are buying a replacement whistle and trained your dog with the original Acme whistle, don’t buy this model. Tone is very different and not as loud.
