Funny and validating, produced tears and giggles.
I don't normally write reviews but I have just finished the book and needed to share how genuinely cathartic it was to read as someone recently diagnosed. Highly recommend.

It’s like chatting with an old friend who gets you.
As someone within whose household it’s becoming a running joke at the volume of books that I order weekly only to sit gathering dust with a bookmark 1/5th of the way in on a shelf, my wonderful ADHD hyperfous and love for my friend has seen me read it from cover to cover in 24 hours, it’s not only brilliant but a genuine breath of fresh air.It tears down the stigma and misconceptions with humour, honesty, and a healthy dose of real talk. It combines personal experience with science, painting a clear picture of what ADHD really is in adults (spoiler alert: it’s not just about bouncing off the walls). It’s like you’re chatting with a friend who gets you.But is it for you?- If you’re tired of feeling misunderstood.- If you’re ready to ditch the shame and embrace your strengths.- If you want actionable tips for work, relationships, and everything in between.- If someone in your life is going through their own journey and you want to understand it better.- If you want an intersectional approach to ADHDThen, Yes!

Terrific and hugely helpful
As the partner of someone with ADHD I found this book incredibly helpful in understanding what they are going through and how I can be more supportive. It's easy to read, packed full of great advice from experts and funny, which is a bonus! I bought several copies to give friends as gifts.

Useful and important
Well researched and written - and funny! - about the process of getting an ADHD diagnosis and the impact the condition has on adult life, along with case studies of other adults and advice from doctors and other qualified professionals. Very useful for anyone who has had a diagnosis and is wondering 'what now?' as well as for their loved ones to understand what it means and how to support.
