100pcs Hot Glue Sticks 7mm x 100mm for 20W Glue Gun, Ustation Ultra Clear Glitter Glue Sticks for DIY Art Craft, 11 Colors

Product itself very very good but the glitter used in the glitter sticks has absolutely naffed my glue gun. Using normal glue sticks I've gone through about 20 normal ones now after using the glitter ones and I've still got glitter coming out in the clear glue for some reason. Product itself great but would recommend buying a second glue gun to use the glitter ones if you don't want everything you glue to be glittery from there forward.

Sometimes doesn't stick very well, has more of a plastic-y consistency when cooled down (one of the reasons it has problems sticking)Doesn't feel like proper glue, wasted a lot of sticks having to redo things because they didn't go down properly or it just came offBut they were cheap so you can't really expect a top quality product for thatThey work (sort of.. The glue melted out the back of the gun ( as seen in the photos) and stuck the pushing mechanism together. I tried to get rid of the glue on it which I partly succeeded with but it has damaged the gun to the point where I cannot push the button to push the glue stick in for it to come out the nozzle, I now need to manually push the glue through. This is not sustainable and therefore I have had to throw the glue gun out. Tried 3 different glue sticks from the pack and happened with every one. I have previously bought Hobbycraft branded glue sticks and this has never happened. I then borrowed my mum's glue gun and the same thing happened, thankfully I realised this time and it doesn't seem to have done the same damage!!

First I bought plain white glue sticks, when they ran out I ordered coloured ones. The coloured ones do not stick objects as well as white ones. One has to keep doing it many times. Therefore four stars.

My kids go through loads of these and the temp they melt at means they don’t get burnt (very often). I do wonder if a 3D printer would be better for some of the things they are building with hot glue though. The sticks always fit the gun I have and don’t foul the bore so that’s good too.

Really good colours, size (length) and easy to use. But please make sure that the power glue gun used is 10watts or more. Any lower than this, makes the melting process difficult.

I ordered the 7mm glue sticks I should've ordered 11mm lesson learnt check before you buy, The 7mm glue sticks look okay and I'm sure they'll work okay when I get a 7mm gun!!! I did heat one up with a naked flame and the glue worked but this is not going to be practical for every day usage. Prompt response from the supplier though!!

These are extremely fiddly to use as they are just fractionally too narrow for the glue gun and therefore don't feed through properly without being pushed from the back. Not a good buy, but it's clear why they were cheap.
