Following instructions will prevent issues.
My DryfireMag was delivered in a practical no frills package. It was in near perfect condition despite being shipped in a bag versus a box. The product itself was received in perfect condition. The DryfireMag operates as advertised. They were very diligent in what to expect from the product and it has performed beyond my expectations. I do have to emphasize the instruction to insert the mag with some force. If you try to be gentle inserting the mag, it's not going to engage correctly and will not operate correctly. Also, that first trigger pull should be aggressive to set the spring for the reset. Overall, I am quite happy with my purchase and intend to purchase other sizes for different calibers.

Flawless
There is not a lot to say here. Everything worked like a charm, out of the box. No instructions needed, no learning curve. And it has never malfunctioned. Also, works perfectly with MantisX Elite and Laser Academy, though I have had some issues with MantisX not being able to sense trigger pulls sometimes. Mantis support has worked diligently to try to correct. But the DryFireMag and accompanying laser - - perfect.

No Buyers remorse here.
I had my reservations as to if this would help my dry fire practice but I actually think this does. It's shown me how tight I am gripping my Glock with my firing hand and this my splits suffered. There would have been no other way to have found that out in a ammo free session. It's American made, it feels incredible sturdy, they give you a small personal bible, and it's making me a more proficient shooter. I can recommend this to anyone. I should have bought this years ago.

So far so good
Seems fairly expensive as far as what it probably costs to manufacture but functionally it seems to make up for that in its value as a training aid. I am using it in conjunction with the MantisX Laser Training app and cn see its value in dry fire training. First of all, in conjunction with the MantisX Laser app, it makes dry fire practice more entertaining. As this is a review of the Smart Dry Fire Magazine with Laser (and not the MantisX Laser app) I will constrain my opinions to the device itself and not its application with other products. The Smart DryFire Laser Training kit comes in a very nice nylon zippered case for neat storage and so far is working exactly as described by the manufacturer. Instructions for use are very clear. Follow all the instructions CAREFULLY for safety, and EXACTLY so as not to damage the product or your pistol (e.g., never cycle the slide with the magazine in place, and do not use the slide release to release the slide once the laser cartridge is in place (gently close the slide manually after placing the laser cartridge and do not allow the slide to “slam” or “slap” back into the closed position as you would normally do to chamber a round). Although the timing of the laser cartridge”round” can be adjusted to the breakpoint of your trigger, and the space between wall 1 and wall 2 and trigger break can also be adjusted, for my standard trigger gen3 Glock 19, the “firing of the laser cartridge did not require any adjustment and the laser “fired” right at the trigger break. The trigger pull was fairly similar to the 5.5 lbs pull of the standard Glock trigger with the standard spring on the DryFire mag (although again, several additional springs were included in this bundle so the trigger pull could be more closely matched to your particular trigger. The red laser dot was very bright and visible and registered well with the MantisX app and targets. Two battery packs (each containing 3x 1.5v small button batteries) were included in this kit to power the laser cartridge while the mag is rechargeable using a standard 5v wall charger with a usb C cable ( very very short cable is provided in this kit). I do not know how long each battery packs will last so I did order 3 additional battery packs from the manufacturer as they were only about $10 (for all three) which seems to be a very good deal. Ordering direct from the manufacturer also gave me a free link to a video instruction series from the Tactical Hyve app. The only “problem” so far is that the weight of the DryFire mag is much less than the weight of a loaded magazine. But this might even be an advantage as the lighter mag weight may make trigger control and grip even more important in terms of maintaining target consistency. Anyway, so far so good with the device and despite the expense of the hardware, in the long run (and even in the relative short term) the cost will be made up in the savings of ammo and frequent trips to the range. IOW, you are not just buying the product, but you are paying for its benefits and convenience. I am hoping that the product itself holds up and lasts and continues to function over time. As the title says, so far so good.

It works
I recently took a firearms safety class where this was recommended. I was definitely not pulling the trigger correctly or consistently. A friend from church had one he let me borrow. It definitely works. My trigger control is getting better, I don't see the front sight moving nearly as much. Also noticing my muscle memory improving and now squeezing more consistently, and evenly. I usually don't include shipping in my reviews but I did receive the day after ordering. It is pricey, but I'm hoping it'll pay for itself on the range.

Works fantastic as a standalone
Makes dry fire training alot easier when you do not have to hand jack slide after every shot. When Using it with my Targetize system it will only register shot #1. Without slide movement, trigger rset does not trigger targetize system. I would be curious if anyone has experience with this item using Mantix or Strikeman systems.Ken

UPDATED REVIEW: Nice for trigger practice. Doesn't work with Mantis or Laser trainer
This is good for practicing trigger pull and reset without having to re-rack the pistol. It does not work with firing pin triggered lasers. Its also pretty expensive for a plastic magazine with a lever, spring and clicker. It also doesn't feel EXACTLY like a trigger pull. Its close but its not the same. It is a relatively tight fit so you will need to push it harder into the grip than a normal magazine. The first trigger pull after inserting is also pretty hard because you are pulling both the magazine trigger lever and the firing pin. But after that it is easier to pull the trigger.UPDATE: If you use this with a Mantis Dry Fire Training Aid, the Mantis will pick up the release of the trigger as a trigger pull. So a 10 trigger pull drill will show up as 20 trigger pulls. The release of the trigger is the same sound as the pull of the trigger. I deducted a star since it can't be used with the Mantis system nor with a laser dryfire cartridge trainer. These magazines are only good for trigger pull and reset training and for that they are not exactly like the trigger pull so I am questioning value now. I will be returning these.
