The Compact Book of Adjusting Property Insurance Claims: A Manual for the First Party Property Insurance Adjuster

Barry Zelma has a fantastic and full library of insurance adjustment books which students of property insurance should obtain and read. While this book states that it is for the property insurance adjuster, it is a bit heavy on case law and is written more from an attorney’s view. Zalma is fair and balanced in his views, but a little heavy on the lessons of fraud detection versus evaluation of damages which is what property insurance adjusters are doing most of the time. In a field looking for reference materials, this is a book I am happy to have purchased and use it in my practice.
