I love these headphones!They are very helpful for me translating coaching conversations with Spanish speaking leaders on my team. The ability to swap down to the Spanish Dialect is great as well!I will note that the translation system doesn't do well for large group settings. It cannot differentiate between different voices very well and thinks the same person is speaking which leads to a nonsensical sentence translation. But for 1 on 1 translation between two people, these headphones have not yet let me down! I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone working in a multi-cultural workspace!P.S The photo translation piece of the app is also great. When a Spanish speaking team member writes a note, hand written, in spanish, the system snaps a photo and instantly replaces the words on the page with my selected language. AMAZING!

Disappointing Experience – Buyer BewareI purchased these translator earbuds with the intention of using them for conversations during video calls, particularly with friends who speak Tagalog. Unfortunately, the product does not support Tagalog translation as advertised, which was a major reason for my purchase.Additionally, the design requires both users to wear an earbud for the device to function properly. This is not only inconvenient but also unhygienic, especially when sharing earbuds with others.Another major letdown is the misleading claim that the device can be used offline for real-time translation. In reality, there is no offline support for Tagalog, which makes this feature practically useless for my needs.Overall, I found the product to be misleading and not worth the investment. I do not recommend it to others, especially if you are looking for Tagalog translation or hygienic, standalone use.

I purchased these earbuds since i have an employee who does not speak english very well and I figured with the free talk mode she would be able to just wear the ear bud(s) and she would be able to join in on the conversation or hear instruction from us, but the ear bud turns off all the time even though it is fully charged or her part of the conversation did not translate each time. Also have to have the tablet or phone with the ear bud app close for it to work. The translation is usually pretty accurate when we do use it and seems to cancel out background noise which our work has a lot of. But all in all not exactly what I was hoping for but does work.

It works well, especially if you intend on using it for translating real-time conversions between you and another, where you both people wait and take turns to speak. However, it's not good for loud places, or if you want to listen to music or watch TV where talking or conversation is quick and more natural. There is a delay (> 0.5 sec) between what is said and the translation so, if someone is speaking and there isn't a long enough pause before speaking begins again then the translator will cut off the translation and start translating the next block of text without finishing the previous translation leaving you with jumbled pieces of conversation. If they fixed the overlapping and cutting off with some sort of short term memory buffer and asynchronous processing this be 5 stars.

I was very excited to receive this and it worked very well when we tested it and for 3 days thereafter. By the end of the third day it was significantly translating incorrectly. Your environment needs to be almost perfect for these to be in the 90% range of correct communication and translation. I do not recommend these for music at all. I also noticed that the software that is used is also used by several including Samsung and Google on their earbuds.

Great stuff will buy again

This product doesn’t work as they described. If you want something to listen to music sure, but it does not. And the off-line card they give you once you download it. It will not let you use itThere were many flaws with this product. I’m in the process of ordering another one from another company. I recommend not to buy this product.
