These are cute little spoons. The handles are short but thick which is great for a babies tiny hands to hold. They’re easy to clean and should hold up well. The spoon size is small for a babies mouth. These are the perfect little spoons for a child who is learning to feed itself.

They come with a metal spoon piece and a silicone handle. They work great. The important step in my opinion is this is a great spoon after the child has experience with a non-metal spoon first, then these. The handle Is a good, grippy size for toddlers who are getting into self feeding. The flared middle stops this from going too far into the mouth and is a great safety feature. Overall, great spoon for your little ones.

I got these because they're heavier than the plastic spoons, however.. these are short and not balanced, so while I did get what I wanted, I didn't realize how much of a pain it can be using a very short spoon, much less an unbalanced one.

Bought these for 19 month old grandchild. As a test, I put 2 toddler spoons on the high chair tray next to the bowl of cereal:- this toddler spoons for Self Feeding, which is shorter, and has a stubby, bulbous silicon handle and stainless steel scoop part of the spoon- a 5" straight handle toddler spoon, which had a smaller, shallower "scoop" area than this SFCCMM toddler spoon I am reviewingPreviously, both my Grandchildren struggled using the 5" straight handle toddler spoon. The could scoop up oatmeal, or milk soaked cornflakes, but struggled to hold the handle, aim, and successfully guide the spoon into their mouth without food dropping off the spoon.On the other hand, when given the choice of the 2 spoons, they picked up the SFCCMM toddler spoon and ignored the straight spoon. And.... they were much more successful keeping food on the spoon. And.... They were much more successful getting the food into their mouth instead of on their lap.This spoon is a winner! Both in performance, and cost.
