Soft with safe padding
Soft, thick enough to make me feel more comfortable about my 6 month old hitting head when rolling. Big enough for you to get down with your baby. Pretty thick so its portable but doesn't roll up small and isn't super lightweight. Goes right in the washing machine easy. I like that this is toxin free.

Worth the investment!
Now that my baby is rolling, I’m especially glad I invested in this bigger mat. I also have the smaller pad and love it, but he rolls right off it now. This is a great size without being too big. The blue color is also beautiful.
