Ceramics is an important and prosperous branch of Vietnamese handicrafts. Bat Trang is a famous village of Vietnam where many ceramics products have been made by generations to generations. This coaster is made by artists from this traditional and famous village. With woven rattan frame and simple hand-painting at the center, this coaster is bring the beauty of simplicity, delicacy, and modernity. This coaster is made with ceramic, rattan and hand-painting skills. A square ceramic plate is framed with hand-woven rattan to create a mini "painting" or can also be used as a coaster for a small tea cup.
