I haven't tried mine out with wax yet but I can say that these are beautiful! My best friend from Jr High just passed away and his husband can't bear to remove a single item of decor from the home despite my saying that he needs to make baby steps to slowly make spaces his own. I was with my best friend the week before he passed and he said that his husband loved sea turtles but his space was in the bedroom. What? He passed away before I could remedy the situation on compromising shared spaces so while I was browsing for my own wax warmers (I chose the owl theme) I saw the sea turtles! I had it shipped to him and bought wax from some fancy place that was gender neutral and very subtle (I also bought the same wax for myself). He sent me a video of it tonight. I didn't look at the warmer itself but zoomed in to see what room it was in. I'm also a widow so was delighted that he placed it in a common area of the house! I'm proud of him and glad that this warmer was decorative enough that he didn't put it just in the bedroom but on the divider between the kitchen and living room. It's one baby step for him! As for the highlights of these little warmers, I'm delighted over finding one with silicone, or whatever the material is, instead of glass that you have to heat up before you can get the wax out and the glass always gets scratched somehow even though I use a tissue (not a paper towel) to wipe it out. So the fact that you can just pop out the wax is a huge bonus. My old wax warmers had an incandescent bulb with metal carved out so it left shadows of dragonflies all over my walls which was super pretty. This one doesn't do that but with the variety of colors to choose from, you can make it match pretty much any color scheme in your room or choose to have it slowly go from one color to the next. As for brightness, I'd say it would do for a night light that is subtle enough that it won't be shining in your eyes due to the filigree breaking up the light. It'll be enough for you to navigate through a dark room if you know your way around the house. Noise level, there is no noise. I'm checking off boxes that Amazon wants addressed here! No leakage (would you expect any? I can't speak to durability since I'm a widow and my kid is 32 so no wear and tear around my home but, compared to my old warmer, I don't have to worry about my cleaning rag getting caught on any pieces so it's easy to wipe clean. I'm just really happy that I found sea turtles for my best friend's husband so he can start doing things that please him. It's hard to do after so many years of marriage. This was the video he sent me today after his wax that I bought finally arrived. Oh, I would prefer a solid base instead of the metal balls on the bottom but that's just me and my preference for things being super basic!

A beautiful piece. No assembly required. Great color selection. Either rotating colors or you can select one steady color. Not sure if it has a timer because I didn’t read the directions. Just plug it in and turn it on. It stays cool to the touch, the wax holder is easy to clean and it’s very sturdy. The light isn’t too bright, just enough for a nice accent to the room. I may get another.

This was a gift for my sister-in-law who loves Al’s. I also got her some warm pellet things scented for the top. It’s really cool. It changes all different colors. It’s a little black scented warm warmer. That changes different colors with a great gift. She liked it.

So pretty and works well. Love the silicone tray so I can just pop out the used wax and replace with new. The only thing I would recommend the company do is instead of just the three little feet, make it four to help with keeping it stabilized.

Would be 5 star if it was a bit quicker melting the wax but still very nice and a great value. I suspect it would be quicker if the silicon cup was not used. Not sure if it's needed.

I LOVE this wax melter! I also LOVE the melting cup because you just let it cool and it pops out whole no drips no mess at all. I would be buying more after the holidays. It’s small and will fit anywhere, doesn’t get overly hot, great quality, beautiful colors that are not to bright. It seems very well built and all in all I am happy. There is 1 down side and that’s that there isn’t a setting to keep it on constantly it shuts off after 6 hours and I need a longer use time. That however is just a push of a button away to turn it back on. Really is a good warmer and I would recommend this one. I got the moose and it fits in well with my home theme.

I am beyond pleased with this purchase. The item arrived on time and as expected. It is beautiful, easy to use, and exactly what I was looking for to gift to a family member. They report they use it daily, like the options, and are very pleased as well. The light is just bright enough to add ambiance without being blinding or obnoxious. The color choices allow for one to change with their mood with ease. I have ordered 3 of these and will definitely be purchasing again for gift giving.

It is an attractive wax warmer and looks good in my living room. It is nice that it does not use an incandescent light bulb to melt the wax. The LED lighting with optional color options and the nature motive is enjoyable to view.

Can’t be used in the uk

Took a while for it to arrive but I’m so happy with this wax melter. The silicone insert makes it incredibly easy to change out the wax. I will probably get a second one for my living room.
